I'm very familiar with Barrera. I'm gonna watch some Jeff Fenech fights later on this weekend, and I'll get back to ya on what I think on this.

Good fight Barrera is the More complete fighter but fenech was a great volume puncher a bit similar to Pacquiao I really can't pick a winner as part of me think fenech would out work Barrera and a bit of me thinks Barrera is just that bit more skilled and would make fenech miss and counter him.

The 122 pound version of Barrera was still more Brawler than Boxer though. He refined his skills more as he moved up in weight. You started seeing the sharper technician Barrera in his Featherweight and Jr. Lightweight days.

I’d go for Fenech. I think Barrera became better as he moved up and sharpened his tools.

Fenech was a superb fighter and also very, very dangerous at SBW.

We got some of his fights in the UK courtesy of ITV who used to purchase all sorts of overseas coverage (which I sneaked downstairs to watch as a kid) and he could really put it on people.

As others have said, move it onto featherweight or super-feather and it is very close indeed between two quality acts. But at bantam and then super-bantam he was a huge nightmare for a good while.
