Former WBO light heavyweight champion Eleider Alvarez will return to the ring on June 28 at the Videotron Center in Canada, according to The Montreal Journal.
The fight would be the first for Alvarez, since losing a twelve round unanimous decision and his world title in a rematch Sergey Kovalev in February in Texas.
Before the second Alvarez-Kovalev fight, promoter Yvon Michel of GYM and Alvarez's manager, Stéphane Lépine, had agreed that the next fight of their pugilist would take place on June 15 in Quebec City.

I hope he fights a solid 12-rounder.
He’s gonna be paid min $250k I think with ESPN now that he’s not world champion, but he doesn’t need to fight a crappy 10 rounder against a no-hoper. He can go straight into fighting a decent LHW top 15 contender.
He’s already 34 or 35, no need to waste time.

TBA usually means "journeyman."

Might be Jesse Hart..
“They told me that I was looking at June to return. I would love that fight. I have no problems facing Alvarez,” Hart stated.
“I already giving him the weight. I haven’t grown into the 175 pound division so I don’t see why I would have to go to his backyard. We can do that fight right here in the United States,” Hart told BS.com.
“If they pay me enough I will go. Again I do t see why I should have to bit if they show me enough money then we can get it. Alvarez is already going to be 35. He’s at that age where he’s slowing down. I saw the Kovalev fight. Probably it’s getting hard for him to make weight. He didn’t have it in that fight. I can beat him even worse,” said Hart.

Eleider Alvarez Suffers Torn Ligament, Ring Return Postponed
A dispute over which June date would house Eleider Alvarez’s next fight has been resolved.
It’s now officially off the table.
The former light heavyweight titlist suffered a torn ligament in his foot suffered during training camp, thus putting the 35-year old out of commission for the next few weeks.
“Eleider Alvarez will unfortunately have to wait a little longer before returning to the ring,” Yvon Michel, Alvarez’s promoter confirmed Friday afternoon.
