He carries scary power indeed. But now he's on a standard uprising tomato can course. Gotta see him stepping up, probably it's time already to start to try on popular journeymen, cause there's no much learning in spending seconds in the ring with the guys, who have no tools to avoid big shots.

Well, that serious stuff will be too serious. 3-4 fights vs journeymen and it's better to include Kevin Johnson there in order to test punch delivering abilities. Then there should be a top 20 try. Fighting some of the top-3 in the 10th/11th bout is too much for everyone.

This guy is a beast. Gibson had never been stopped before and Makhmudov just steamrolled him. He's a dangerous man. Tremendous uppercut.

Ajagba, because Makhmudov doesn't have any defense (except his offense!); Keeps his hands way low; and needs to develop a jab. Right now it's Efe. Could be on collision course down the road!

For the moment Efe seems to be more solid as a boxer, while Makhmodov is likely to be just explosive and hard-hitting. Now I'd pick Efe.

F*cking Wow. That is extremely impressive. Nobody does that to Avery. I did say on another thread that this wouldn't happen, and if it did you can all laugh at me, so be my guest.

Makhmudov is a murderous puncher no doubt, but I've always felt he relies on his power too much. Not that I've seen a great deal of him, that impression is largely based on his underwhelming display against Junior Fa in the World Series of Boxing.

I'd still favour Ajagba but that power of Makhmudov could unhinge anyone so I wouldn't be that confident in picking Ajagba.

I think he's getting on a fast track. He's already scheduled to fight on June 15th, no opponent yet. Good think as he's turning 30 in June and needs to step it up.

If any current HW reminds me of young George Foreman, it's this guy.

He uses his arms extended to smother his opponents attacks. Very Foremanesque. I agree he needs to work on keeping his hands up, and also leveraging his jab more, even if only to measure his opponents better.

Look from 18:37 , he seems to have a motor tic or something
Yeah, I've seen that before. The twitches his head. What's funny is the first time I saw him do that was right after being hit! I thought he was hurt for a moment.

When Makhmudov hits his man, it's like there is some invisible telephone pole crashing into his opponents.

He quickly takes both their legs and their wills, and he doesn't even need to land flush.

I have noticed he's an accurate puncher too. Who is he fighting next?
