Or his style of fighting?

I’m probably the only one that’s not his biggest fan. Just never have been.
He's just a badass. He fucked up Victor Ortiz in a fight where I think he might have dropped 3 times but refused to stay on the canvas. Khan dropped him with a body shot and I thought the fight was over right there and he got up and carried on fighting. He was like Jason from Friday the 13th. He was one of my favourites long before Broner. The Broner fight and the first Mayweather fight just cemented him as a legend. He's one of my favourite fighters of all time. Sure he didn't win everything but he had aggression, balls, and heart, and he was always value for money.
ya, entertaining warrior style, fun fights and good power, beat up the guy everyone hates.....he had the ingredients to be a big time fan fave

It amazes me how boxers just can’t step away. Most of the time, it’s not even because of the money. I think that it’s the stage. The lights. The attention.

There’s a thin list of boxers that have never come out of retirement. Off the top of my head? Lennox right? Froch? Ward so far so good. Prince. Hagler. Rocky. I’m sure that I’m missing a ton.

If Ward comes back I will be very surprised probably one of the smartest boxers to step into that squared ring!

This photo of Maidana with stacks of money made a lot of Argentines angry. He had to apologize. He was a terrific fighter in his day, but no, I don't think he's coming back.

Well, aren't you the cynic?

A professional boxer blowing through millions of dollars in a few years?

Unheard of. ;-)

Por qué dices eso?

Maidana has already said that he has signed with PBC.

Signing and actually coming back are worlds apart, I can't see it working out at all, his new promo company must be in the way or what PBC are looking for, not a blown shot Marcos trying to boil down..... I love him but can'r see it going to fruition

I’ve just watched a video of Marcos Maidan on the pads and he looked absolutely fantastic. His punches and his physique was solid.

He looks like a light heavyweight though and his hand speed wasn’t great.

I’m beginning to realise that Maidana may still be a decent world-rated fighter at 147lbs, but he’s unlikely to capture another world title unless he engages in at least four warm-up comeback bouts.

Maidana may be carrying a certain amount of excess weight, but the multitude of videos I’ve seen appear to portray him being a very athletic fighter.
