Martin's landed plenty of solid lefts, but Corbin just keeps coming. never seemed hurt.

Corbin disqualified for nutsack shots. This fight did nothing to show me Martin is anything but a average fighter.

True. But he will get a gatekeeper fight I think.

Joe Joyce. I'd like to see that. I reckon Joyce beats him, but could be great in ring experience, especially as Martin is a southpaw.

Shows how average the beloved kownacki is.

Corbin was just a walking target, who didn't know, what to do. Martin boxed well, but this win isn't something big for him, just a fight to regain confidence after a hard fought bout, which was lost by him.

Martin v Joyce. Good call, I'd like to see that and it would make sense for Joyce. Less so for Martin but Martin took a risk with Kownacki and doesn't seem to shy away from potentially tough fights.

Martin doesn't have the quality that "Former World Champion" status might infer, but he's a welcome readmission to the heavyweight scene, or at least I think so.

I've literally only seen the low blow incidents. Do we think the crow was looking for a face-saving way out of the fight or if not wtf was he playing at?

If he genuinely believes that I'm surprised he wasn't denied a license to box due to his impending blindness.

What did you think?

Well I mean in all fairness to Martin. Maybe he's not referring to himself. I mean he was basically fighting at his level. Even with this win I still don't have Charles Martin back in the Heavyweight Top 20. He's probably like 21 or 22 or something, but not Top 20...not for me at least.

This win has zero impact on his ranking in my opinion.
