Nery can never fight in Japan again, I thought, after getting busted for PEDs in the first Yamanaka fight & then ignoring the weight limit & coming in like six pounds heavy for the rematch?

Why would anyone in their right mind ever fight him? How can any promoter in good conscience put the fornicating pudendum on?

Nery weighted 5 pounds over the limit, at the end were 3 pounds of difference.

And Yamanaka controlled the weight, Nery and him were in 128 pounds in the ring.

That fight would be in U.S.A, not in Japan.

Nery is the best 118 pounds in the world, the second is Inoue.

That is one of the best fights in the boxing world.

And Nery will K.O Inoue, just like he did against Yamanaka. Too strong for anyone in the division

i dunno, inoue has been laying guy out just as fast and heavy at 118 but hasnt been taking kds like nery has. also hasnt been down several times like yamanaka had even b4 nery, so i dont know about nery overwhelming inoue like he did yamanaka as u say

nerys a hard hitting beast who keeps the punches flowing but hes but open

great fight

Nery beats an old, semi inactive naturally smaller Arroyo, who had one win in 3 years and people go crazy. Funny that.

Tedious fact of the day: according to the BoxRec pound-for-pound ratings, Luis Nery is in 13th place, with Naoya Inoue rated 21st.

Also, BoxRec’s “What if…” feature estimates Luis Nery having an 83% chance of beating Naoya Inoue.

Admittedly, I haven’t seen enough of Luis Nery in action to possess an educated opinion on the potential outcome of this fight, but based on my limited knowledge, my gut instinct currently tells me that Inoue wins this.

I love Nery to score the upset.

He's a Mexican stud.

Nery has been banned from boxing in Japan. But considering how massive a Nery-Inoue fight would be, I suspect the Japanese commission would suddenly do an about face and reinstate him.

In boxing, lifetime bans usually only last a year anyways.

Very compelling matchup!! I see a pick 'em fight that either guy could win. In my opinion a convincing win by either guy could rocket him into top 5 worldwide P4P!!
