Ekow Essuman beats Tyrone Nurse to retain English title

Post by Looking On »

Anyone see anything of last nights english title fight, in Nottingham at Harvey Hadden ?
Step up in opponent on paper by making a first defence of the English title against Nurse, so how did Essuman look in winning this ?

Not normally one to miss the local fights especially as I know a lot of the lads but couldn't get out of work.

I'm also led to believe Joe Hughes looked really sharp on his pro debut on the way to stopping his opponent early.

With Leigh Wood holding the commonwealth and Ekow Essuman holding the English I'm hoping it's not only a matter of time til big time fights at the arena can return..
