Maybe we get a colossal upset tonight? It is boxing.
David Benavidez (20-0, 17 KO's) takes on veteran J'Leon Love (24-2-1, 13 KO's). It's Benavidez' first fight back after 13 months.
Luis Nery (28-0, 22 KO's) makes his USA debut against an experienced McJoe Arroyo (18-2, 8 KO's). Arroyo (like Nery) is a southpaw, he's also arguably competed against better opposition then the 24 year old Nery has.
So who would you lean towards in scoring a MAJOR upset ... Love or Arroyo? Or,maybe just give us your accurate prediction on these fights.

I'll be picking Love to pull an upset. Benavidez is inactive for a while compared to Nery who takes stay busy fight to shake of ring rust.

That really throws shade on Shinsuke Yamanaka. (Granted, there's some real shadiness about Nery's wins over him, too.)chuck9788 wrote: ↑16 Mar 2019, 13:45 Maybe we get a colossal upset tonight? It is boxing.

Love will probably get outworked but I give him a shot at the upset.
Nery is a terrific but unsung fighter. No chance he loses. He should be a top 10 P4P guy.

Do people picking Love actually rate him at all, or is it more a reflection on Benavidez and his inactivity?
I was thinking Arroyo was easily more likely to get an upset (even though he'll get smashed up), simply because he's not shít.

IMO that noname heavyweight from Haiti who will fight aging Areeola is the main pretender to score upset in Texas card. Also Ronaldo Chinea is more than a live dog vs completely untested rican prospect Nestor Bravo in Puerto Rico

I don't think we rate him as highly as he once was. Ever since Rosado he's not been all that successful. Hes basically a former top twenty'ish guy whose probably top fifty'ish now. He's got the potential to make an upset more on circumstances than ability--- then again he couldn't do much with Petey Quillian who was also inactive.Deleted_Scenes wrote: ↑16 Mar 2019, 17:35 Do people picking Love actually rate him at all, or is it more a reflection on Benavidez and his inactivity?

What a terrible PPV, not a single competitive bout. All 3 were mismatches.
