Just saw that brawl, he slapped Edwards up pretty good - funny, but not going to do him favours with UFC in the short term, bound to make a fight with Edwards much bigger. Would be a good match up skillset wise. Both skilfull fighters with good striking ability and movement.

He looked odd. I think he overdone the dehydration. This is the trouble when you try to make a career out of weight draining and bashing up smaller guys. I'm unconvinced Till is good enough to hang at the next weight class.
Gotta be the biggest hype job the ufc has ever seen
Not even close.
Sage takes that title.
Sage northcutt definitely more of a hype job than till
As far as recently goes. In terms of more hype than substance it will be very hard to ever top Houston Alexander.
Alexander actually had some good wins. Better wins than Sage and less hype than Sage for sure.

Northcutt was so underwhelming it's untrue  they pumped him up & dropped him like a bad habit

Sage is also 23 years old. I remember the Houston hype as being extreme, but obviously the UFC PR machine wasn’t as developed back then. Guy was a dead cert future champ based on two wins over chinny guys before losing his next 4 in the UFC and being cut.

I remember there being some excitement surrounding him following his win over Jardine. But, nothing extreme. At least it started after a win over a name opponent. Sage had huge hype coming in haven't faced anyone. His open workouts were covered extensively, and there were a lot of promos about him. Hell, he was even in a commercial with DJ even after a loss.

Raging Al takes it.

On a side note... I liked Askrin for a good couple months there. But, the way he's treating the Lawler situation, and the way he's lobbying for a title shot after that performance has got me pulling for his demise. How do you not run Lawler/Askrin back after that?

Ok...Just an odd choice. Do you believe he was even more hyped than one of his opponents, Kimbo?

Tbf it wasn't looking good for Pettis at the time, but he legit starched him. Great to see him get up, was never a fan of Thompson.

Did not expect that at all. I thought Pettis was gonna get completely fucked.

Side note, perhaps more important as well. Meisha Tate nudes are now on the net and you can see everything.

I'm really starting to love the ESPN deal. ESPN is showing a lot of content and quality highlights, including the stoppages on YouTube.

It's interesting that 2 weeks in a row, two lightweights move up to 170, and are sizable underdogs to the #3 ww, and both underdogs score put you to sleep KOs in the 2nd round.

Before his fight last week, Till was the #3 ww. After getting koed, Wonderboy took that spot.

I'd love to see Pettis/Masvidal now.

I had problems on my phone last night. I was watching niece and nephew and had to watch live in Spanish. Content is great, that worries me with all ppvs being there now. FYI, my sister is doing really well, hope you are too!
