Wilder vs Joshua!

Post by TheGman »

Im sick to death of this fight and think it should be banned from even getting mentioned on this site,im not interested in it anymore. I dont care who is at fault for it not getting made so it needs to be put to bed.

Agree mate, leave it out til/if the fights announced....just boxing politics bulls**t isn't it,they'd get well paid for the fight,so why not make the fight :maybe: why wait & wait & wait.its why I honestly prefer some domestic & lower level stuff these days,at least you get two young & hungry & driven guys who aren't going to be brought down by bullsh**t

I'm aware that politics & this sort of thing always has,and always will,be a part of boxing, but doesn't make it any less aggravating

At the bare bones of it fighters are supposed to fight for f**k sake,I could understand if they'd get menial pay but these are "superfights" with a lot of dough to be had.....

World boxing & all its silly belts & waiting games is laughable a lot of the time tbh

What is so surprising that Wilder is often behind in his fights (at least on neutral cards) and looks brittle at times. He could easily lose one of these waiting around, pension pot fillers.

Brezeale has a lot of heart and is not the sort to give up. He might just land something.

Can we extend this to the entirety of the heavyweight division? What a clusterfuck of garbage.

Except for any Usyk news. Everyone likes Usyk :D

Agree - Joshua's fights have been pretty dull of late and Wilder is potentially one of the worst champions out there.

I hope Breazele does him, so we can perhaps just get a Unified champion for the sake of being a Unified Champion..... and you know something, as poor as Breazele is - its still arguably Wilder's third (and perhaps even 2nd) best opponent.

I don't know what it is about Wilder but he seems to have this "mystique" about him then when he puts in crap performances - there are revisions about his opponent as opposed to him.

Ortiz laboured to wins against the likes of Dave Allen - considered old and shot.... puts in a good account vs Wilder - all of a sudden the age thing is forgotten about..... and he's amongst the most dangerous in the planet.

Fury - okay, not disputing his talent..... but I still cannot completely shake off fights such as his Cunningham fight..... where he looked poor, before the KD also. Yes, he beat Wilder - but now he is better than Ali with a chin like no one has seen. People seem to have forgotton the negativity after the Pianeta fight.

I would seriously like to see Wilder fight the fringe top 5 / top 10 guys on a more regular basis and Breazele isn't that bad (although not great) a start..... He definitely has the power, but in all honesty I think the likes of Povetkin, Pulev, Parker Usyk, hell I'd even say Joe Joyce now, would be beating Wilder - now whether Wilder finds that Bingo moment is a different matter. Actually the one "contender" who I wouldn't be so confident, stylistically, to beat or ever be ahead vs Wilder is Dillion Whyte. I'm just not as convinced he has the tools or boxing IQ to give Wilder as many problems as the others I've mentioned.... he could do, I'm just not as sure. I think Povetkin, Pulev, Parker and Usyk are better natural boxers than White and Joyce has a better engine. I'm fully expecting Wilder to beat Breazele but at least it is a step in the right direction and one of only 3 fighters who a good self belief and ambition that Wilder has fought.

It is poor that this seems to be one of the most talked about fights. Joshua's Mr exictement reputation has dimished and Wilder, frankly, is piss poor.... when this dominates talk over the likes of fights involving Spence, Crawford, Pac, Thurman (with a certain "money" lurking) then it does make my blood boil a bit.
