I'm talking literally specifically about this deal thinking about it...
The narrative before... AJ turning diwn 50m... Wilder not really having the money or really wanted the fight… Barry Hearn’s “AJ can fight anyone at Wembley for millions”… Eddie not wanting the fight
Can we this occasion take that out of the picture
The meeting with DAZN consisted of Wilder. Lou DiBella, Haymon, Finkel and Brian Kenny of DAZN. Hearn wasn’t present. So from one side, DAZN obv desperately want that fight, they wouldn’t entertain offers if they didn’t. It was literally Wilders team turning down £100m
As much as Hearn is a knob… I don’t think him or AJ are to blame on this occasion. The fight is dead now surely

I don't think it has anything to do with them. Wilder was fighting breazeale anyway. They can still negotiate. I heard he didn't take less money and hes not tied to the network. I love dazn, but they're flinging around money worse than haymon was and he lost all that. Eddie is a great promoter but he can't make Americans care about boxing. I'd be wary too.

Re: On this specific occasion
The owner of DAZN is a multi billionaire, literally one of the richest men in the whole world. He’ll not be bothered about losing a load of money on boxing - it’s all a loss-leader to try to topple the usual satellite/cable companies anyway.
Re: On this specific occasion
I give up with all the what ifs& promoter & network dealings,Im just interested in the actual boxing should it ever happen
Re: On this specific occasion
Agreed,I'm not a beneficiary money wise so simply put I really don't care & it's not worth getting wrapped up in.end of the day you remember the great moments of a fight, the subtle technical moments & the dramas of a proper battle,10years down the line you don't start discussing the promoters talks in the run ups & fighters purses
