At least it's a better stand in than most guys at that level would take on this notice. Weird from Maldonado though, does he see Teslenko as more beatable or was he getting paid peanuts?

Only plus side is that a can-crusher with a 17-0 record is probably going to get the loss on his record that he likely deserves. If he wins then fair play to him. Still can't believe he was ranked by WBA last year lol
One crap for another. 17-0 (17KO's); Terrible resume; 35 y/o; Gorman needs to step up, not 'in.'

well that was short lived, I feel sorry for Gorman as he will most likely end up facing someone really really terrible.

Lovejoy has his world ranking to protect. He can hardly do that if he's going to fight someone at least moderately talented can he?

What the hell.

Now Gorman is scheduled to fight Kevin 'Kingpin' Johnston, according to BoxRec.

Gorman just following Dubois round here?

Interesting observation and true! If/When they ever meet, Dubois will annihilate him.

I agree Dubois will beat Gorman but at least Kingpin is a step up from Maldonado!! Usually late subs are a step down not up. I'm pleasantly surprised...
