Great points. Judges accountability is something I have been wanting for a long time. Its gotten to a point where more than angry I get sad to see a great fight like Canelo GGG 2 get tarnished because of the scorecards. If it was not because of the history of shady score cards in Canelo fight perhaps the outrage wouldnt have been so bad but still we had a modern day classic with little to no discussion about the merits of the fight itself. Ill check the webapp

Like some have mentioned too many factors to fix boxing but I would say we if could go to the root of the evil it might help.
How about eliminating the need to control the outcome? Have the fans get to know and care enough about the fighters so they dont get discarded after a loss. Have the context of a loss be as meaningful as the outcome itself. Lose a close fight have them on another high profile matchup in the near future before people forget.

As it is now, promoters (mainly Arum and DLH) are running boxing as if it was WWE were you build up a super hero type of mega star. It only pays off when you get to face another one at the same level. They do that and fans couldn't care less about the "mere mortals" that are not in the top 10 P4P lists. Hopefully the model will keep changing as these streaming apps provide space for more content about different fighters.

Nope. I think it was a great fight. A classic and a very close fight. I had it a draw myself which means it could have gone either way. Which is why its sad to see the word "robbery" gets thrown around so often these days. Not a groupie here BTW. In the middleweights Id say my favorite is the actual title. We have a line that comes straight from one of the lasts greats and Im glad Canelo chose to defend it when he could have used his celebrity status to keep it hostage.

That said, if you missed the whole controversy about the scorecards I have to say I'm impressed... For most people it was difficult to find a discussion about the fight that did not involve the word "robbery" and stuff related to the score cards.

clear cure for all the problems... create a boxer association... who have rankings, true rankings and titles, their own network, pension and insurance plans... basically the money goes to the right place, and fan can finally just get that Boxer's association channel and get all the relevant title fights
