When can DAZN be added to the TV Schedule search? I asked way back in October and at that time ESPN+ had already been added and they came out at roughly the same time.

We contacted them, but they weren't interested.

Would it be possible to have an app for boxrec? I understand it would be very costly for a free app, but provides opportunities to send notifications to fans when boxers in their watchlist has a fight announced/results etc

Firstly I think BoxRec is bloody marvellous. A long way from perfect but extremely helpful and useful. Thank you John and the team.

One improvement suggests itself to me, which could be a nightmare to backdate, but very easy to implement for future records and that is along with results, weights, locations etc. would it be possible to include each boxer's current BoxRec world ranking, so we can see at a glance their relative standing at the time of the fight which could well be nothing like where they rank today?

There may be an issue in that a boxer rated say 800 may have the same number of points (maybe zero) as the boxer occupying the 1200 slot in which case the rating used could be the highest rating of all those boxers on the same points as the boxer having his/her record updated, or even the average.

I just think when looking briefly at a boxer's record it's easy to dismiss a result as of little value when at the time of the fight it was a prestigious and impressive win over a quality fighter as opposed to the oft beaten old has-been we have become familiar with.

What do you think?

we can search the BBBofC titles by Area... is there any chance of adding the Area filter into the fighter rankings too? So being able to see all the fighters eligible to fight for the Southern Area title at a given weight?

Eder Jofre's real full record is NOT the 72-2-4 (50) listed but it is 75-2-4 (52). The record books don't have his first three bouts. I have the official record from the Brazilian Federation and can upload it.

These bouts don't show up

September 21st, 1956 vs. Osmar Crocicchia which he won via ROUND 3 KO in Sao Paulo
January 5th, 1957 vs. Valter Valentim which he won by DECISION 6 in Sao Paulo
February 28th, 1957 vs. Acyr Sereno which he won via ROUND 1 KO in Rio Di Janeiro

I located Sereno http://boxrec.com/en/boxer/194679
and Valentim http://boxrec.com/en/boxer/692249

Let us see who is in the forum again. Sometimes we have posts that are directed at specific individuals and groups of folks. Fun posts, not obnoxious ones. Please?!

I'd love to be able to search the schedule for "any television". Currently we can see a display for "no TV" and for myriad invidual stations. I just want to know which bouts are schedulingh for "any TV".

Also I note that ESPN+ and DAZN are not listed as options. Is BoxRec not publishing their schedules, or is there just now way to filter for them?

Can you search by fight rating? I'm sure you could do this a while back.

Thanks

That you shouldn't be able to get notifications from whoever is on your foe list. If they're blocked then you shouldn't constantly get notifications that they quoted you and/or replied to your posts.
