I haven't kept up my subscription for the last couple of months because the fights have been weak. The last thing I remember watching was that Garcia vs. Cheeseman fight and the only reason I bothered with that was because I had spent $10 on a subscription for some other fights a week or two prior.
As crappy as the cards have been recently I cancelled.
I'll only get it for fights I have interest in.

I quit DAZN a couple of months ago. I found the technical quality of the broadcasts excellent and best of all is that I could tune in late and watch it from the beginning without knowing the outcome, but the fights they have that interest me are few and far between. They've signed up Wilder. The only interest I have in him is seeing him get ko'd. Now if they signed up Usyk I'd take notice. Worst of all though is I can't stand their time fillers.

If you think you'd get this 6 times or more per year, you're better off paying the annual fee.

I understand that. But I doubt they have 6 cards worth it at the rate they're going.
I was so excited at first when DAZN came out. But damn are they disappointing

I've heard that UFC is pretty good on DAZN, if that's your sort of thing.

Not a UFC fan. But isn't the UFC exclusively on ESPN + in the US?

Do they? I saw stuff about that from six months ago but nothing recent.

I have ESPN+ for the UFC which is why I received notifications for Thompson vs Pettis today.

I haven't got DAZN yet, but in April you have Wangek vs Estrada II, and Prograis vs Relikh. In May, Canelo vs Jacobs, and Taylor vs Baranchyk. And in June Joshua vs Miller, and Glowacki vs Briedis. So that is 3 months, or 1/4 of the annual fee right there is $25. Then the remaining 9 months is $75, or the price of a typical PPV. (I think I will give it to Hearn this year).

I just don't know, that's why I don't want to commit. Maybe I'll do it 8 times, but maybe I'll only do it 2 times. It depends entirely on what cards they offer.

For a single $20 payment I can get everything from Rungvisai/Estrada through Taylor/Baranchyk, which is pretty good.

I dunno if I'd pay another $20 for Joshua/Miller since I consider that a bit of a mismatch.

Dazn has Bellator. 90% of the cards are on basic cable too.

Or you could trade Wangek's and Prograis's fights for Joshua vs Miller, within the span of a month. Theoretically I mean if one wanted to.

I did the 1 month free DAZN subscription, cancelled once the free month had passed.

Then several months later came back and told DAZN I could commit to a 1 year fee and would pay all now upfront but I wanted 1 year plus another additional free month. They will give you 13 months for a yearly price if you're a new customer, but as a returning customer you receive no reward and they only give you 12 months for a yearly price. They refused to give me 13 months for the yearly price and as a result of the disagreement, I did not join, and they didn't get any money out of me.

DAZN seems like a great idea, but it's a service which only rewards new customers. You get no "loyalty points" or rewards as an existing customer. The problem with that philosophy is it encourages zero in the way of customer retention.

Had they agreed to my request of paying 100$ for 13 months they would have made that money at the same cost to them. But their disagreement caused me to completely pullout and they lost my money, future business, and subscription.

That's typical of most businesses that operate in the scenario where customers must commit to paying for services for a year or so. It's not a DAZN specific business practice.
