38-38

Bowen finally caught up with McC and hurt him.
McC has the edge in skill and movement, but Bowen's punches count double.

Bowen is good to watch at least.
He's raw, stiff and fairly easy to outbox, but a tough, brutal, physical beast.
He'd be better in the cage than boxing.

The Scotsman showed some of Bowens limitations tonight, the Englishman was a good winner though, and McDonnell is a poor ref

Yep on both.
McDonnell wasn't gonna be deducting points from the house fighter and was way to quick to do it to the away corner.
Bowen will steamroller everyone until he finds his level and doesn't.

If he just tapped Maxwell rather dancing about and sticking his tongue out he would have got him out of there. Crazy stuff.

Spirited effort from McCorry gave Bowen all he could handle, Bowen was well ahead on the cards especially with the point deductions but it wasn't a great showing, it was messy at times, a lot of fouling from both men, Bowen struggled to find his range and McCorry made things tough with plenty lateral movement and getting up close and working away, Bowen still has a lot to work on, he lets the red mist descend sometimes and allowed himself to get dragged into a messy fight, he did start to break McCorry down by the end though, some nice uppercuts from both hands for the finish, ref was a bit early in stopping it IMO
