Of course fury could toy with/carry him to avoid a gon't blink or it's over stinker but eff! where's the point in this!

Schwarz up until now exclusively bullied handpicked inferior opponents with basic technique. He's a thick, crude, quite strong, relatively unfit guy. his defensive skill is minimal... can't believe and still don't think it will happen.
Other than that, what do you think?!

Schwarz is young, undefeated, has a good amount of rounds behind him with late KOs, decent speed and movement, and he has taken some decent shots. He might be young enough to just go in blazing and make it entertaining, although that is a very tall order v Fury.

thats a flattering way to describe shwarz, ive watched much of him and hes not impressive at all. crude , out of shape and has gassed badly before, and with 0 notable wins or experience for stepping up. he barely beat ivica bacurin

vs gashi he also flopped to the canvas and looked for the dq instead of continuing to fight, im not sure on his mettle either

He truly doesn't like to 'mix it up.' Doesn't have the heart for the game.

I gladly defer to those whom have seen more of him. Obviously, he was not chosen as a high risk option. All I have seen so far are a few highlight vids. Even with my half glass full perspective, I agree that he has little to no chance.

Rumors have Oscar Rivas vs Kubrat Pulev on the undercard. As many of you know, Rivas beat Pulev at the 2008 Olympics.

I agree.

I watched and studied all of the fights easily available on him.

He looks awful.

Slow, with not that much power. Telegraphs his jab, etc.

I liked how, in the gashi fight, a second comes out and subdues Tom against the ropes and so Tom punches him square in the side of the head and the second didn’t even flinch.

That’s not a good sign.

When Pulev beats him comfortably, he’ll be Joshua’s next opponent.

Rivas will then probably end up Fury’s next opponent!

what a shame. he had a guaranteed rematch for the wbc title, and now this.
it probably makes sense for longevity, but is a totally meaningless fight, historically.

arum talks about a wilder rematch in 2020! maybe this makes space for a josua-wilder unification, at the end of the year.

First it was one fight then a rematch, now it's two fights.

It won't happen until Arum is convinced it's profitable.

He's not interested in arranging an expensive fight that isn't going to attract. more than 325,000 PPV buyers.

And Arum knows that rematches draw even less than the original.

Until he feels certain that historical trend can be reversed, you won't see Fury and Wilder facing off anytime soon.

Pulev fight with fury will never happen now . Pulev is in big money fight with anthony joushua .. Fury fight brings in peanuts for pulev.

Pulev doesn't need to fight Rivas. He is already worked his way up and is a mandatory since 2 years

I seriously doubt it will take place after the cut last night. At least not on the Fury card

Meh, it's three months from now. We have no idea, but you bring up a good point.

Trust me. Between the cut and how bad he looked he's not going to risk it.
It's 11 weeks away and that will be his excuse

Tyson Fury-Schwarz terrible mismatch. Hughie Fury - Schwarz would make more sense.
