I know Bowe had a short peak due to being a freaking nut job.
But damn he was fantastic when he was peak.
Too bad he couldn't stay focussed

This isn’t a thing.

If Usyk makes a decent showing at Heavy, and I hope he does, it’ll be worth talking about.

I think his short peak was due to the holy field fights. Seemed more the punishment looking back than him being a nutjob. I put on the first two fights with a casual fan after wilder/fury just to show the difference and though the second fight isn't as lauded as the first they pummeled each other.

Bowe couldn't move very well. Usyk attacks his flanks for 11 rounds and fires the kill shot in the 12th that blows Bowe's turret off and he explodes to the ground.

I like Holy, I like him very much, I have a great respect for him; but, I dare to say that (at CW) he and Usyk are on the same (A+)level. Nobody knows about Usyk's future at HW, I hope it will be known by 2021.

Bowe by the stoppage. Maybe we should finally see Usyk at the HWs, but anyway Bowe was too good in 1992.

I'll reserve judgement until such time Usyk actually fights at HW.

This thread topic is utterly ridiculous! Oleksandr Usyk hasn’t even competed as a heavyweight yet and people are already discussing fantasy fights between the Ukraine and Hall-of-Fame heavyweights.

People are stupid enough to prematurely grant Usyk an honorary rite of passage to being considered as being an all-time-great heavyweight, without even requiring the need for validation! FFS!

This is fantasy match, nothing more...........

As I know, Usyk faced (and defeated) several HWs at WSB (Joyce, etc.....)

Following this logic, we shoud not have discussed about Brook vs. Golovkin, Khan vs. Canelo or M. Garcia vs. Spence (Brook and Khan had not competed at MW before, and Mikey had never competed at WW before facing Spence).

This is not personal, of course. This forum exists because of different oppinions of us - the boxing fans. :TU:

Little early for this debate eh?

I would wait till he has stepped up in the HW division first.

I think Bowe's prime was short because Golota beat it out of him.

I think Bowe just didn't have the discipline to stay on point with training and lifestyle. Maybe the Golota bouts were the result. Damn he got beat up, didn't he?
