Apparently fighting on the AJ card.

Would like to see him unify, but it will be difficult since the other titles are all wrapped up on either PBC or ESPN.

He may have to move up to get a big fight, I'm sure Bivol will oblige.

Think it's a case of after the wbss paydays, callum will need big purses to fight now. So needs ppv in the uk or to fight on a dazn card. Looking likely to be Joshua or Usyk card next as there isn't currently a uk ppv fight that will sell enough. I think the long term plan is for Callum & Liam to both keep winning and maybe have a dual world tittle bill at Anfield next summer on ppv.

He was paid around $5-6m for the final alone..

TBH, he's probably set for life. He should know he cant demand that much, unless it's a high profile fight.

He should receive min £1m per defence and should ask for no more than £2m if it's a voluntary.. to demand more, it needs to be a big name and because Sky wont be coughing up, it will be ppv to make remainder of purse.

I wonder how much Sky/Matchroom exclusive contract was worth as most Matchroom boys are fighting on DAZN in the US now..

Let's be brutal.

Bellew's purse for his WBC defence against Flores was around £200-300k.. Just goes to show, Sky aren't really invested much

For both Ilunga and Flrores fights, Bellew made less than £1m

I thought he said when interviewed before his brothers fight that there should be an announcement this week?

I hope he doesn't get the "Kell Brook" syndrome, this sense of being clearly the best in the division without really proving it. I've read a few articles / opinion posts about the Super Middleweights already saying Callum is "out there on his own" as the number 1..... I can remember something similar being written about Brook when he was world champion.

I'd like to see Callum really cement his place at #1 first. Aside from Groves, he didn't really impress in the WBSS.

I'd love to see him reschedule vs Braehmer, Braehmer's stock went up after what Brant has done since.

Pretty sure I heard Eddie say that he wanted Smith to make his first defence on the Usyk card but Callum wanting to fight on the Joshua show

Another case of not striking while the iron is hot! This is far too long to wait after a career best win!

Seems almost like Eddie is too preoccupied by his main cash cow (Joshua), and the ongoing dealings with Dazn, that Smith and maybe a few others on his books are being overlooked.

Seem to remember a few years back when the AJ buzz was really taking off some of his other "top" names jumped ship to Warren and elsewhere.
