Maybe Wlad v Muhammad ali?
Wilt Chamberlain!
Can't count on him.

He would pull out at the last minute.

But it would be a hell of a fight. I recall that there used to be a guy here (whose name somehow slips my mind) who swore that Chamberlain would have destroyed Ali.

Imagine how he would brutalize Klitschko.
Kalan. How could I ever forget! :o
Yeah, that's the guy. The infamous K-Man.

As I recall though, he was a big Klitschko fanatic. Insisted Lewis resorted to thumbing and laces to open that cut when he fought Vitali.
Damn that was so annoying listening to every excuse in the book
It's still happening, this delusion of Vitali. Same crap; different poster(?)

I'm intrigued to see it. Whether they match him with a bum or a live opponent I'll have a look just to see how he looks in the ring after his extensive hiatus, and age.

Heck, if Wlad is coming back, maybe he should at least give himself the opportunity to exact revenge against one of his previous victors. Thus, I propose:

Tyson Fury ( 27-0-1 / 19 KO's ) Age 30, last fought 2018.

Anthony Joshua ( 22-0-0 / 21 KO's ) Age 29, last fought 2018.

Lamon Brewster ( 35-6-0 / 30 KO's ) Age 46, last fought in 2010.

Ross Puritty ( 31-20-3 / 27 KO's ) Age 53, last fought in 2007.

Unfortunately, Corrie Sanders was killed Sept 2012.

But other 1st comeback candidates would include:

Tyrone Spong ( 13-0-0 / 12 KO's )

Kyotaro Fujimoto ( 21-1-0 / 12 KO's )

Zhilei Zhang ( 20-0-0 / 16 KO's )

Trey Lippe ( 15-0-0 / 15 KO's )

Kenzie Morrison ( 14-0-2 / 12 KO's )

I thought it was good. It was realistic enough to get people going which is surely the point of a good April-fool gag.
I didn't realize this 1 April custom was an international thing, and it amused me to see the Ukrainians in on the act.

I thought last year was just idle speculation about whether he'd resurrect his career. I don't think he was regarded as much as a retired boxer a year ago, more one who was inactive and claiming he was done. Whether that makes any difference or not depends I guess on your point of view.

It made me smile anyway. Whether it should have done is perhaps debatable.

Yup. That's why it was obvious, or so I thought.
