I think Price's problem is his chin, not his brain. If you can control yourself in that situation, that's good. Let that asshole Kash Ali take the entire fine.oogiebe wrote: ↑02 Apr 2019, 13:15 I found it interesting reading of how Pricey said he had to 'restrain' himself after getting bitten. To me it says a lot that a guy gets bit and was actually able to restrain himself in the ring. Wouldn't you think most anyone else would have gone a bit apeshvt?! Where's the killer instinct? Maybe Price is too civilized for boxing?!

Re: David Price v Kash Ali
His chin is by far his biggest problem. I'm questioning if he is a fighter, instinctively. He may have been one at one time, but he just seems 'flat.'
Re: David Price v Kash Ali
Nobody's saying,or implying that
Bizarre comment
Holyfield & Price clearly aren't pussys, look at there chosen careers....
Just have strong levels of restraint/composure
It's a fair opinion to suggest either man would be within their rights to attack back

It was a odd way to win a fight but a wins a win and Price I like him I hope he gets a Big payday before its all over.
Re: David Price v Kash Ali
The thing is jamamb seems to get real butt hurt whenever anyone says a bad word against price, price is a nice guy but kash should of been put to sleep after the first bite attempt.
Re: David Price v Kash Ali
holyfield, he of great fighting spirit, didnt start with elbows, headbutts, etc after he got part of his ear bitten off, big deal if price didnt go apeshit and looking for a street fight after a nibble, lol anything to keep on with the price is a weak little baby who needs protecting nonsense
a low blow wudve been more damaging then that nibble btw

Maybe Price, as a veteran professional boxer, suspected that Ali was going to be DQ'd. So he kept his head and refrained from stooping to Ali's amateurish street fight mentality.
The W is what it's all about. Price remained calm and got it. It's not a barroom fight. It's boxing, and you need to keep your emotions in check if you want to succeed.
Ali couldn't do it and lost. Price did and had his hand raised.

Yeah, surely the number of fighters who have actually reacted very aggressively to being badly fouled is tiny compared to the number who just got on with it? It’s very rare that you see boxers kicking off with each other, they’re usually too disciplined for that.jamamb wrote: ↑02 Apr 2019, 17:30 you guys are making way too much of this, the price is a mentally weak mess stuff is just so overboard at this point even if it started with lots of truth to it![]()
guy looked pissed off and then walked up to ali and said something
not even holyfield started going rogue and throwing elbows and headbutts, and he walked back to his corner instead of running and tackling tyson . and holyfield got bitten waay worse.
And what if the ref hadn’t even intended to disqualify Ali, just take 2 points off or something? Price wouldn’t have known 100% the ref was going to disqualify Ali, so if he had reacted aggressively then it might have ended up being Price who was chucked out!
Re: David Price v Kash Ali
I love it how we are still talking about a David Price fight.

Re: David Price v Kash Ali
You go back further than I do with Duane. There are a lot of similarities with David Price.
*Both won at least 1 Olympic Match but came up way short of the Gold.
*Both are/were good punchers.
*Both dedicated to their craft.
*Both are very chiny.
*Both went undefeated as a pro for a good run.

Ye man i was watchin it,i seen price in the previous round against the ropes gassed and ready to go. I also seen price saying to his corner that kash was tough straight after the fight. The longer a fight goes the more vunerable he is. Price should of have made easy work of him given the experience he has.

No worries, bud. I think Ali was about fifteen seconds away from being stopped though.thechump wrote: ↑03 Apr 2019, 10:27 Ye man i was watchin it,i seen price in the previous round against the ropes gassed and ready to go. Lovely tweet from Ali. Having watched videos of him being interviewed, I find it hard to believe that he wrote that.
