I put on the first two fights with a casual fan after wilder/fury just to show the difference and though the second fight isn't as lauded as the first they pummeled each other.

The heavyweights of that era had a load of activity compared to the "throw 15 punches, land 5" era of today.

If you rewatch Whyte vs. Chisora (especially 1) and Wilder vs. Ortiz, you will realise that you are not quite right.

Exceptions but not the rule. Heavyweights were more active with more stamina as a whole in prior eras. And it was on the top level also, not just the Derrick Chisora levels. You can even argue Ortiz would've done better with Riddick Bowe's stamina. He gassed himself out which only happened to Holyfield when he had a heart condition.

Maybe we should wait and see how he handles Takam before throwing him in a hypothetical matchup with a Top 15/Top 20 all time Heavyweight

Riddick "Big Daddy" Bowe was one of the best insider heavyweight fighters of all time! He could box on the outside with you, throwing terrific jabs, and he could also lean in and bang you to the body and head, in an all out brawl. No holding. No hugging. Just knuckle down and throw some bombs.

Plus he was very agile when he was in shape around 235 lbs. In that short window of time, Riddick was up there with the best all time, just like James "Buster" Douglas was against Mike Tyson that one night in Japan.
