Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Martin Murray - Summer 2019?

Post by Ruthless-RKO »

Pretty sure Martin Murray said he retired after N’Dam?

Unless he meant he’s retired from the MW division?

Why, don't get the fight . eubank seems too always want to go backwards after a big win against Degale though I think Degale was poor still a good win the the rankings for him. No interest in this fight for me . I expect eubank to win grind Murray down with his work rate fitness can see it going the distance

Although I respect him, Martin Murray is both shot and pretty dull to watch.

How the Christ that is PPV I don't know.

I wonder if taking a soft touch indicates Eubanks actually trying to learn something in the gym to apply in a bout. One can only hope.

I admire the hell out of Murray. Will, chin, heart - a real warrior - but you're right.
Obviously over the hill and hasn't been a good watch for years.

He did chuck it - then changed his mind.

He’s too small for SMW.

According to Sky Sports Jr hasn't spoken to his trainer since he beat DeGale, back to square one again. As for Murray, easy win for Eubank i'd say.

Hasn’t Eubank been training with a trainer in the US? Was it Virgil Hunter?

And he mentioned recently he may bring back that trainer

Was it not Nate Vasquez who trained him out of the Mayweather gym.

Following dad's career path. Too many look at his career through rose tinted glasses. Granted, he would step up if a fighter mandated or the purse was high enough, but snr thought nothing of putting on a snoozefest vs bums. At least jnr still puts them away post his awful ring tragedy.

Yeh. In a recent interview he did say he was happy with Nate and may bring him back on his corner.

Eubank would win via one sided decision in a mediocre fight. Murray would keep the high guard, and jab going, but he wouldn't land enough to win or even make it close.

Probably because when he attempts to go forward he loses and therefore steps backwards whether he likes it or not.

Yeah it would be a re-run of the Eubank-Abraham fight.

This is a fake account, definitely not happening. Murray himself never actually said he had retired, just a few articles said that and everybody then ran with it.
