Usyk : " I am going to repeat it at HW".
Do you believe he is capable to become the undisputed HW champion ?

Good poll to allow recasting votes as Usyk gets one or two HW fights under his belt. How the heck are we supposed to know now?
Re: Usyk : " I am going to repeat it at HW".
No.
I voted not likely, as I am yet to see him in a heavyweight fight. He probably can become a relevant top 5 operator, but not undisputed champion. Joshua is going to find it hard to achieve that, and he has better tools from a boxing perspective to achieve undisputed champion status.
Do not underestimate the political blockers to becoming undisputed champion. Throw into the mix his starting age, he won't have a lot of time to play with.

I voted "undecided"..watching him box a top 10 guy might be helpful..

Hearn will be involved, and I hope it will not be any political obstacles. So, YES, he (Usyk) can !

I would have voted "absolutely."
But it's so difficult to win all those belts with all the political conflicts, that I sliced it down to "likely."

He can do it, unless The Gypsy King possesses any of the belts.

Yeah, with Usyk pressing throughout, Fury will actually have to fight.SenorPipino wrote: ↑06 Apr 2019, 14:23 Your Gypsy King will need to start landing more than 80 punches per fight if he's going to handle Usyk.
His usual smoke and mirrors offense won't get the job done.

Anyway his opponents land less on him, than he on them. If Usyk will be able to settle a fight, Fury won't be trying to avoid it, cause he's a better inside fighter, who possesses size advantage and can fight dirty. But I think, this will be majorly a battle of jabs, which will be won by The Gypsy King. They both are outfighters. When two of such boxers meet, one's reach and height advantage can become crucial.SenorPipino wrote: ↑06 Apr 2019, 14:23 Your Gypsy King will need to start landing more than 80 punches per fight if he's going to handle Usyk.

Usyk can be so busy with his hands. And the punches come quickly. Accurately.
Fury will look silly in comparison, doing little besides jutting out his chin, making faces and putting his hands behind his back.
His act is already tired.

Usyk is very over rated .. who he beat bellew who beat haye ? Prime haye was nothing more than a featherless chicken who was never in the fight against klitchko.
Holyfield had granite chin, probably best chin in heavyweight aftet oliver McCall. And physically he was lot stronger than Usyk. Usyk is no holyfield.

Usyk is a very complete fighter. Maybe the most complete today. (respects to Crawford). He's not overrated, but I wouldn't compare him to Holy. Real Deal's accomplishments compared to Usyk's potential is unfair at this juncture.Boxtune wrote: ↑06 Apr 2019, 15:28 Usyk is very over rated .. who he beat bellew who beat haye ? I don't think that Holyfield had better chin than Vitali Klitschko. But, this is off topic, totally.Boxtune wrote: ↑06 Apr 2019, 15:28 Usyk is very over rated .. who he beat bellew who beat haye ? Prime haye was nothing more than a featherless chicken who was never in the fight against klitchko.

..............And, if Usyk is overrated, I am William Shakespeare, personally............
Re: Usyk : " I am going to repeat it at HW".
Vitali was around 5.5" taller than holyfield and it was very difficult to land hard on his chin, specially he was leaning back too, he difinitly had better chin than wlad. But holyfield i could hit him with a baseball bat on his chin only.
Re: Usyk : " I am going to repeat it at HW".
I don’t think so. Unless he sures up his defense considerably, he won’t be able to shrug those shots off like he has when being outweighed by 50 pounds. Of course unless he goes to JMM training camp of roids’.

Don't get me wrong I admire what Tony Bellew achieved in he's boxing career BUT if he was giving Usyk trouble at Cruiserweight the way he did then a light punching tactician like the Ukranian will struggle at Heavyweight bigtime.
