Seriously why does he need to be 17st when he goes up to Heavyweight when he walks around with 16st Maximum?l

He could just be a 15st Heavyweight with his punch.

I would expect his best weight to be around 217-220 lbs.

worked for Tyson, Moorer and Holyfield...

dont HAVE to be 245 to be succesful at heavyweight.. Brewster is pretty small too, although he comes in fat :-)

Trouble is all the above guys have great chins (except Moorer)

Tyson was at his best at 215, Frazier at 205, Ali 220, holyfield 215-220. Even Lewis was at his best at around 235-240.

It doesn't matter though what weight you come in at, as they say, you can't build muscles on your chin.

I just don't see Haye coping with world class heavyweights. When he faces the big boys and they just grin after he hits them, what is he going to do then? Haye relies on hurting his opponents to win, and the top class heavies are used to taking big punches. If Lamon Brewster can take Wlad's punches for 4-5 rounds and then come back to win, he wouldn't be fazed by Haye's shots.

Yeah as long as Haye is over 200 then why does he need bother about putting more weight on like 17 stone?

Thats one of the HW's problems they care about being too much over 200.
