Re: Hughie Fury Comeback Date Announced
Hahaha…….Afternoon Hennessey Sports. Just loved your reply so much I nearly choked on the pepperoni. Please tell your boss to hurry up next time, my pizza was cold.Teflondon19 wrote: ↑10 Apr 2019, 11:45 lol GLASS JAW.....firstly why would mick or anyone he works for be on here? Secondly YOU GLASS JAW mentioned poxon sports, SO IT IS PART OF THE CONVERSATION. YOU mentioned hes a bigger promoter....he isnt....you mentioned he makes more money...he doesnt.....poxon is a front job for eubank sr and al haymon....which is why he lives in a semi detached, and doesnt actually make any money....ALL THESE ARE FACTS.
Mick drives around in a vespa?...what other fictious narratives are you trying to communicate?
FYI Hughie fury has several range rovers.....lets leave it there.
YOU GLASS JAW...seem to be a bitter guy, who obviously has no association with anyone in the higher end of the business Frame.
Hennessey made lots of money when he had channel 5, he hasnt made much in the last couple of years...but what happens when he gets a channel 5 contract?!?....are you starting to see the bigger picture, is the penny starting to drop?
Maybe start something constructive with your time instead of plucking things from thin air and being a hater.
National tv platform and a multi millionaire oil tycoon partner isnt small time....so after eating your take out youve saved your giro money to buy phone up poxon himself....(he doesnt have many people working for him)...and ask if you could become part of the eubank jr show on itv.... for 2/3 times a year....or until whenever he gets beaten next...which judging by his last performance against a deadman wont be too long from now.
Maybe you need to tap up the binmen for a job, but last time I checked I make £50k a year working a comfortable recession proof job, with more holiday time off than the majority of people, so im good, how about you?
ta tah GLASS JAW
To start with I’m not a hater just a fan of the sport but hate it when people like you come on here talking S**T about promoters and what they are going to do and that they are better than the rest, this sport is being ruined by jumped up dickheads who think they are bigger than the fighters themselves.
You clearly no nothing about the sport, i’m guessing if you’re not Mick you work for him?
And yes I did mention Poxon Sports but not at anytime did I attack him or judge him for living in a semi detached house, what’s wrong with living in a semi? I like my house! as I said that has nothing to do with this conversation.
Hughie may have several Range Rovers but thats not because of his boxing career is it, let’s be realistic!
As you're in the know please enlighten us about how much Hennessey has made from his Channel 5 deals, earning a round 70k a show a few times a year isn’t ground breaking or enough to make $$ is it, the Youtube adventure must of cost him money?
And please tell us who this “multi millionaire oil tycoon partner” is, so we can all laugh when he wastes millions of his hard earned cash on backing Hennessey! He must be a sucker to believe Hennessey when he says Hughie is going to rule the world!
Looking at companied house the money you say he has earned hasn’t helped him has it? You may want to check that out yourself, it’s free and available for anyone to read. And it’s interesting, 3 down 1 to go!!!
And how do you know Poxon Sports don’t make money, they have a deal with ITV and ITV4, isn’t ITV a bigger platform than C5? He may be a front man for Eubank Snr and Jr, but didn’t Eubank Jr start his career with Mick? So was Mick just a front man for the Eubanks? So you can’t attack Poxon for whatever deal he has with them. Now jog on!
Teflondon19 as your getting really boring now and I hate wasting my time on nut jobs like you who haven’t a clue about the sport or business I’m going to end this conversation.
But please do send me a job application form, if Greggs Bakery are paying you 50k with over 22 days holiday a year I want in!!! Anywhere they sell food will be a recession proof job if your boss is working there. Laters

I remember a guy from Hennessy sports posting before, only press releases, no interaction.

What is it you do that's recession proof? Sounds intriguing.Teflondon19 wrote: ↑11 Apr 2019, 04:02 its ok maybe your distant cousin who holds the mic for some fighter interviews can help you.....that's some connections right there
im only playing man, its all fun and games on here, don't take it to heart. we all clearly know a bit about the sport to be on here in the first place. People opinions are going to differ, that was my point.

Re: Hughie Fury Comeback Date Announced
I have to agree with the general feeling so far, is Hughie fury a World beater ? No.
As he is or was during the Pulev fight and in the Parker fight, he just won't last at the very top of the sport right now.
But the fact is, he's 24. He has plenty of time to develop and get better, he won the British title after getting beaten by Parker then walked into far to big a challenge for him, in Pulev.
Respect where it's due, Fury hadn't fought anywhere near the opposition Pulev has in his career so far, so the end result that happened, wasn't a big shock.
Looking just in the UK, matches against Chisora, Price, Allen, potentially even Gorman could be a good match once Fury gets back on form. Good heavyweight fights back in the UK alone and if you look further into Europe there are fights out there for him over the next few years not only to develop more but build a bigger name for himself by taking the harder road to the big title fights before moving back onto the world level.

Re: Hughie Fury Comeback Date Announced
So Hughie is working towards a fixed date, yet there is no opponent named yet? - nothing changed there (someone’s going to get a call the week before).
Why not match him with Martin Murray? - at least then there will only be one boring fight I need to avoid rather than two.

Re: Hughie Fury Comeback Date Announced
I wish it was Hughie fighting Big Daddy this weekend instead of Allen.
Any thoughts on he could be going in with? Would be good if they managed to get Kabayel. Undefeated, beat Chisora etc.

Arlo Stephens from York went to spar Hughie can't see the benefit for Hughie there Arlo only had 5/6 Amateur bouts , great work for Arlo though.
