Many Sciaca V Sam Solimon

Post by Grant »

Yup it's in the schedule. Just don't know why. I like Sam and respect Manny. Although why he decided to take on Kessler in his first defence after beating Anthony by SD has always puzzled me. Should have made a bit of money first.
Anyway I digress. Anyone interested in paying to see this one?

Sam's 45 years young and Manny is 43 and hasn't fought in over 4 years since he retired at the end of the 6th against Rohan Murdock.

What is the point of this bout between two old pugs who should have retired?

One hopes it is not as dreadful of the recent fiasco between John Hopoate and Paul Gallen, which gave the sport it's most recent black eye.

Hope is the last one for Sam. Had a pretty good career but would hate to see him be a stepping stone for the up and comers. I think he would be mid 40s now.

I see Sam had a win and called it a day. Good career and wasn’t the prettiest of fighters but got the job done. Well done Sam.
