Or at 7/2 if you add in another round (1-4).

Khan lasted until 6 against Canelo, but he was more "prime" 3 years back.
Crawford is a good bit better than canelo

I expect Khan to have early success here like he did vs Canelo, probably even win some early rounds. Crawford wont end him with one shot like Canelo did but my expectation is he will start hurting him with counters and that will slow down Khan's attack more and more before all the hard counters have him backing up and going into survival mode.

crawford starts slow sometimes. he was actually down on the cards vs dulorme but if you watch that fight he clearly has a handle on it and is just looking dulorme over. khan can win a few rounds early like that but craw is just a superior fighter overall and will end it around halfway

I’ve just watched the Crawford-Khan Face Off interview and I’m saddened to say that Terence came across really poorly. He’s so incredibly dull.

Bud is a fantastic fighter, but every time I’ve seen him being interviewed over the last few years, I’m always shocked at how poor he portrays himself to the media. He shows no sign of improvement either, which is utterly bizarre.

In terms of talent, Crawford may indeed be one of the top-two pound-for-pounders on the planet, but he’s also head-and-shoulders above all other fighters for being astonishingly dull. And for this reason alone, he’ll never become a big name.

Instead he’s destined to only be appreciated by a very small niche market - the very hardest of hard-core boxing aficionados.

There’s absolutely nothing interesting about the man, other than how he performs inside the ring.

Maybe that’s enough for some people, but I personally need to actually “like” the person in order to get behind them and show them some support.

Does anyone think that this fight is going to be any different than most of Khan’s big fights? Amir Khan’s nickname should be “Blue Balls” because every one of his big fights are wildly entertaining for 4 rounds until Bambi on ice shows up and then you know the fights over. His spaghetti legs after a couple of big shots make me hungry.

Love the guys heart but he’s his worst own enemy because he’s a better than average fighter that thinks he’s an elite superstar. There’s no doubt that Amir is not going to age well. Too many beatings. Another case where someone needs to save him from himself.

Yet it’s rather interesting that you persistently feel compelled to peruse the entire content of my posts and submit responses, even though no one is forcing you to do so.

You should put me on ignore if you’re traumatised by the extremely taxing challenge of reading through a few sentences.

Sweetheart, I don't have to put you on ignore to ignore you. If you paid as much attention to detail as you claim too you'd notice I never respond to anything past a sentence or two. That's all it takes for you to fail miserably.

TBH, Spence is also a little dull. He definately has more personality than Crawford though. And he can talk better. But he looks as though he’s sleep talking most of the time.

Don’t agree with Crawford being ‘boring’ or whether this will dictate his popularity. I feel that he will get a boost of both popularity and publicity following the Amir Khan fight as I’m expecting a BIG KO and good looking performance.

As for Spence, it needs to be said. His face/head both looks like a young child’s and an old mans (depending on the angle )that’s perma stoned.

Yeah, I completely agree. I've previously submitted a similar post complaining about Spence Jr's lack of charisma.

If Crawford and Spence Jr. cannot become media friendly, by proving that they possess interesting personalities that fight fans will either find really charming or alternatively deeply unlikeable, then this will severely hinder their careers.

They need a fanbase that are willing to tune-in to watch their bouts to either support them or to pay for the privilege to see them lose, because without a decent following, these guys will remain anonymous and unheralded.

Promoters and TV networks will be highly-reluctant to invest heavily to stage loss-making marquee events involving fighters that don’t attract decent audience figures.

There’s a risk that Crawford and Spence Jr. could both become the second-coming of Guillermo Rigondeaux. Excellent fighters that no boxing content provider or broadcaster are interested in, simply because no one really cares enough about them.

We're not talking about Crawford's fighting style or boxing talent. It's how he presents himself to the media that we have a problem with. He doesn't sell himself very well.

I've rarely been able to watch entire videos of him being interviewed, because he constantly wears an expressionless face, adopts a monotonous tone in his voice, usually provides generic answers (mostly of a “yes” or “no” nature) to questions he responds to and he doesn’t show any charisma (i.e. he doesn’t laugh, joke, show passion or attempt to be controversial in any way).

It probably explains the reason why he rarely appears on mainstream sports shows.

I’m not a "hater" and I’d love to be proven wrong, so if you’re able to furnish the forum with a video of him being highly entertaining (whilst being interviewed), then I’d love to see it.

I am willing to revise my opinion on this matter if you can support your stance.

And for the record, I also believe that Spence Jr. lacks charisma.

Yeh. Crawford fighting Khan, he needs to make the most of it. I know it’s ppv, so one it needs to be a good fight.

Obviously using Khan’s popularity as well.

Arum said they wanted a ‘name’ opponent.

Khan is gonna be the most recognisable name on Crawford’s resume.

It's really clear that you dont like Crawford or Spence. Could you give us some examples of fighters whose personalities you find engaging enough to actually like and root for? Hopefully some of them will be US fighters if there are any current American boxers that you do like.

Crawford does tend to be sullen in his interviews but I've got an excellent video of Spence in his post-fight press conference after the Garcia fight. Errol is very accessible to the media in this video, which runs about 22 minutes. I dont expect you are interested enough to watch much of it so I'll list the high points:

* He is humble and shows respect to Garcia for his performance

* Gets a laugh from the assembled media members by saying he wants to help Pacquiao get the retirement check he deserves

* Says he was motivated by name boxers (& ex-boxers) like Sugar Ray Leonard saying they favored Mikey to defeat him. (Doubters put a 'chip on his shoulder' that motivates him even more)

* Expresses sincere gratitude for the sacrifices of his parents in helping him become the boxing champ he is today

* Says he appreciates Mikey's fans supporting him as a fellow Mexican-American and hopes to win many of them over to becoming his fans too

* He turned around and showed the back of his robe with his name embossed in Mexican flag colors

* Like Mikey fans he says he supports fellow American fighters (Ward > Kovalev, Crawford > Khan)

* When a media member asks him if he is now "the face of boxing" he says "I still got lots of work to do"

* Was very analytical in answering questions about his game plan in the Garcia fight

What's not to like about this guy, as a media-friendly fighter or as a person?

I don’t actually dislike Crawford or Spence Jr., but I do find them both boring.

Let’s not pretend that these guys handle the media impressively, because they clearly don’t.

If you disagree and feel that Crawford and Spet Jr. are entertaining characters, then please post a couple of YouTube videos illustrating their intriguing personas.

In terms of charismatic fighters capable of selling fights, men such as Thurman, Porter, Haye and Bellew are guys that Spence Jr. and Crawford should aspire to.

"Intriguing personas?" Very few athletes have intriguing personas. When Spence shrewdly invited Pacquiao into the ring immediately after the Garcia fight to promote a fight with Pac (a household name with even casual boxing fans) you completely ignored it & give him no credit for it. Beating Pac would, in turn, bring Errol closer to be a household name. Here's video of that good-natured challenge Spence made to Pac:

I ALREADY posted a video of Spence in his post-fight press conference after the Garcia fight & as expected you ignored it. That's why I posted the highlights of the presser and I'm reposting both the written highlights & the video:

HIGHLIGHTS FROM SPENCE'S POST-FIGHT PRESSER AFTER GARCIA FIGHT
* He is humble and shows respect to Garcia for his performance. Spence is not articulate or eloquent but has a ghetto accent. Maybe that's part of your problem with him.

Paulie Malignaggi, Gabriel Rosado, Keith Thurman, Shawn Porter, Adrien Broner and even Deontay Wilder all have something interesting about them. They’re either eloquent guys with a good sense of humour or they intentionally behave in a manner that causes controversy – either way, these guys make you take notice.

My gripes about Spence Jr. and Crawford lacking charisma isn’t the result of some sort of bigotry.

For the record, I don't dislike Crawford or Spence. I've already made this clear numerous times – pay attention to the words I write!

I didn’t ignore anything. So stop accusing me of doing so! I’m under no obligation to respond immediately to other people’s comments.

It seems that you agree with my perception of Terence Crawford being dull, so at least we’ve found some common ground.

In terms of Spence Jr., it’s more about the way he presents himself rather than the words he uses, though he tends to deliver generic stereotypical sportsman style responses to any questions being posed.

He often conveys his thoughts using a monotone voice, whilst wearing a blank facial expression that is devoid of any emotion – very robotic. Errol also rarely attempts to be humorous or controversial. There’s nothing memorable or noteworthy about any of his interviews. Your videos perfectly illustrate and justify my critique!

The fact that I personally find Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr. rather dull when they’re being interviewed, doesn’t mean I don’t have a deep respect for their pugilistic ability.

It’s your prerogative to feel entertained by any interviews involving Errol Spence Jr., because having a personal interest in something or someone is clearly subjective in nature, but I feel that he needs to receive some form of media training that helps him to relax and be himself when he’s in front of the cameras or if he’s talking to a large audience.

Crawford and Spence Jr. both need to become media friendly, by proving that they possess interesting personalities that fight fans will either find really charming or alternatively deeply unlikeable, because if they don’t, then this will severely hinder their careers.

They need a fanbase that are willing to tune-in to watch their bouts to either support them or to pay for the privilege to see them lose, because without a decent following, these guys will remain "relatively" anonymous and unheralded.

Errol Spence doesnt need "media training" to be himself. He is already being himself! He is a simple, hard-working athlete who is dedicating himself to be the best he can possibly be at his chosen craft. He is not articulate or eloquent and speaks with a black ghetto accent/inflection that irritates some folks (you are quite possibly one of them). Media training would artificially morph him into some sort of pre-packaged phony that would temporarily impress image-obsessed elitists like yourself. I say temporarily because you would soon find something else to crack on him for. With elitists like you Spence is damned if he does & damned if he doesnt.

So the real issue underlying this potentially endless debate about Spence (and to a lesser extent Crawford) is that you are an uncompromising, shameless elitist who takes yourself WAY too seriously. I stumbled across this example that clearly exhibits your elitist attitude. This little gem you recently posted shows how you essentially think you are superior to everyone. This elitist tirade was brought on by someone DARING to call you the Unenlightened One. Blasphemy!!

I really need you to bring it on, because this'll be the easiest debate to win!

Come one kid, show some guts! Let’s see what you’re capable of? Can you refute my claim about Crawford being a large welterweight or are you going to remain silent purely out of cowardice?

I've already got loads of some of my old posts and website links prepared to refute any counter-arguments, I just need someone stupid enough to debate this topic with me!!!
