im selling this on ebay at the moment
Re: im selling this on ebay at the moment
Its a nice glove, but looking at the memorabilia ive had and sold over the years it tends not to fetch a great deal of money, unless its something like a Lonsdale Belt, or very rare pieces of boxing history. I think the £300 starting price is pretty high and without being negative I dont think you will sell it.
Re: im selling this on ebay at the moment
I agree it will be tough to sell at that price, the market is flooded a bit, there are guys looking to get gloves signed at shows all the time and then flogging them.
Also back in the day the top fighters, Ali, foreman, Hearns etc signed gloves by the bucketload

Ive had a few gloves over the years and sold them on Ebay, not had a great deal of success to be honest and was disappointed that they didnt fetch much more than an everlast boxing glove cost. I was told the more names on a glove devaluate it.
Re: im selling this on ebay at the moment
I wonder if donating them at some inflated value would be more beneficial from a tax deduction standpoint. Like donating an auto usually works out better than selling it as the donation valuation is significantly higher.

If you have photos of any of the fighters signing the glove upload them with the item as this will prove the authenticity.
There are a lot of people who like stuff like this but are put off by the number of fakes out there.
