If Garcia hadn't just fought Spence and Lomachenko wasn't injured following his win over Crolla, I'd say the pair of them fighting one another is the only viable fight for either man now.
For both men to make their comeback fights next:
I'd ask for Garcia vs Commey in a WBC/IBF unification bout, just for the reason to set up a undisputed championship match with Lomachenko when he returns.
Garcia may have lost but he went the full distance with a man, officially 2 and from the sizes of them on the night you may even say 3 divisions, bigger then him on the night.
If he wanted a comeback fight, I'd say he'd probably win against Lee Selby (Who boxrec rank at #3 at the time of writing) so a match there to get a return win and with it coming against a potentially hostile crowd if it happened here in the UK also.
Lomachenko on the other hand, is hard/impossible to match up. For a come back from injury bout, a match against Yuriorkis Gomboa would be fun but potentially would end up the same way as Crolla.
Looking at undefeated prospects who are rising up the rankings, it becomes more of a game of, which market do you want to appeal to?
*Zaur Abdullaev is the WBC silver champion with 2 successful defences and wins over experienced opposition but a Russia vs Ukraine match up may be too political to push depending on where it happened.
*Japan would be interesting, if only to appeal to a new market and a Boxer at Lomachenko's level coming to Japan would get national attention and sell out any stadium available.
Opposition wise it becomes harder once again. Masayoshi Nakatani has been the OPBF champion since early 2014 but with wins over varying levels of opponents it's hard to gauge if he is really world level material and with that said I just couldn't see the match lasting long.
The same can be said of Shuichiro Yoshino 10 fights and 8 KO/TKO wins so far and 3 successful defences of the Japanese title so far mean he has potential but at the world level it wouldn't amount to anything. I couldn't see it as anything more then a sparring match for Lomachenko.
*Australia/New Zealand could be another avenue - George Kambosos Jnr. is undefeated but hasn't fought anyone of note throughout his career so far and again looking at his ability and development, I can see it would end up the same way as the others mentioned, a sparring match on a big scale with a very violent ending.
*other top ranked opposition according to Boxrec means you could argue the chances of Robert Easter jr or Emmanuel Tagoe, but with Easter just losing to Garcia in his last bout, along with having an IBO/ WBA world title match coming up is already booked and Tagoue only ever fighting outside of Ghana once in his career so far, you can't expect him to pose a real threat.
The next opponent for Lomachenko ?
Re: The next opponent for Lomachenko ?
Too right
Campbell came close to beating Linares- which has IMO been Loma's best win at the weight- and I would have given Campbell odds on to beat Linares if they had rematches.
So if Loma can't get another belt holder lined up, Campbell would be a good fight.

He can fight Commey and I'll watch it, but let's not kid ourselves, it's a mismatch. Commey has more power than Crolla but Crolla couldn't land a thing and Commey won't be able to either.
The only really compelling fights are Mikey Garcia and either Berchelt or Davis if they move up from 130.
