is mung declining already?
is mung declining already?
whats going on with this cat?
blows away ali to burst onto the scene, then looks worse each time out and now easily couldve lost tonight to a guy who got 119-109'd by jack culcay. retained his title with a generous hometown majority decision
is it making weight? using his face for defense? whats the story wishbone?

Who knows, perhaps a bad night. Hogan was robbed, shame for boxing.

He never looked more than an exciting fighter to me. Tonight he wasn't even that. Another night where mma saves the day.

He isnt declining, he is just limited IMO
Re: is mung declining already?
Btw Ali was welterweight, Hogan is middleweight. Can be factor too. Bad news for Munguia is, Hogan is not world elite. Imagine what Jarett Hurd can do to him. And stepping to middleweight? He has literally no chance against Golovkin, Alvarez or Jacobs. On the other side he is just 21 so there is space for improving. That defense is really really badjamamb wrote: ↑14 Apr 2019, 00:06 whats going on with this cat?

Re: is mung declining already?
He won a world title early in his career and now that’s when it gets tough.
They should hold off him fighting the elite of 154 and 160.. but he’s got a belt already.
He’s gonna end up losing soon I feel. Not saying he can’t have a good career though.
He’s calling out GGG, he should think twice about that.

He'll be fine at 160.
Munguia is a growing lad. Just 22 and 6' tall.
Has looked lethargic lately, even in the Inoue fight.
He needs to gain some weight and watch him explode.

Re: is mung declining already?
will that help him learn to block a punch i wonder
Re: is mung declining already?
Nowhere but Mexico does Munguia win that fight. I don’t think he’s regressing. He’s just not that good.
Re: is mung declining already?
He's not declining, he never was as good as people were making him out to be. He just had one good KO over Ali and everyone went haywire over him. He could get still there because it's too soon. He's still developing so he isn't declining..
Re: is mung declining already?
He's winning because he's huge at the weight and not because he's especially that great. He may improve.
