The most dominant current champion, Spring 2019 ?
The most dominant current champion, Spring 2019 ?
I can make a question, but I have no answer. What do you think ?
Last year, Usyk has been the most dominant, without any dilemma, but he is no more at CW, so I have not put him on this list.

I think it can only be lomochenko out of that list , canelo has 2 questionable wins over GGG hardly dominant, Crawford and Spence are the same weight and you could make a claim that either aren't even the best in their weight class the same with AJ , Fury and Wilder wouldn't be massive under dogs ....has to be lomo.

Re: The most dominant current champion, Spring 2019 ?
Nobody. Lomachenko did not fought Garcia, Davis and Berchelt. Crawford did not fought Spence, Thurman, Porter, Garcia. Spence did not fought Crawford, Thurman, Porter, Garcia. Joshua did not fought WIlder and Fury. Canelo fought close fights with Golovkin. Nobody from these guys is really dominant, because oposition is very good, just make that fights. Somebody here wrote about Inoue, lets see how WBSS ends

Odd, I can only say Crawford. Linares was neck and neck with loma.paddy chavez wrote: ↑14 Apr 2019, 08:01 I think it can only be lomochenko out of that list , canelo has 2 questionable wins over GGG hardly dominant, Crawford and Spence are the same weight and you could make a claim that either aren't even the best in their weight class the same with AJ , Fury and Wilder wouldn't be massive under dogs ....has to be lomo.

All of the mentioned in the poll have something to prove.

Crawford isn't even the number 1 in his weight class Spence and possibly thuman rate higher. I think Crawford is a great fighter but he's not dominant at welterweights.Onetimeonly wrote: ↑14 Apr 2019, 09:43 Odd, I can only say Crawford. Linares was neck and neck with loma.

tough to pick against canelo, because I am firmly in the belief there is only one way to beat the mexican (to knock him out for 15 seconds because there is no chance of getting the nod on the cards)

Re: The most dominant current champion, Spring 2019 ?
I guess you can take this question in different ways I looked at the question of the most dominant champion as who is the most dominant at his weight and I can't see anyone beating lomo at 130/135 whereas I think Spence vs Crawford is a pick em fight so Crawford is dominant at welterweight
Re: The most dominant current champion, Spring 2019 ?
No, after Usyk moving up there are no "perfect" champions. Of course, some are more likely to become such. For me those are the likes of Loma and Crawford, for example. But right in the moment I won't call them absolutely dominant, cause they have something to prove, as I've said.

Re: The most dominant current champion, Spring 2019 ?
He's clearly the most dominant champion on that list. If you're trying to change the question to resume it's clearly Canelo. Crawford has had a belt for many years.paddy chavez wrote: ↑14 Apr 2019, 11:37 Crawford isn't even the number 1 in his weight class Spence and possibly thuman rate higher. Re: The most dominant current champion, Spring 2019 ?
if your talking who has the least competition among fighters currently in there diivision, its prob loma on that list. his biggest rivals are at different weights right now, lopez is still coming up, etc. its kinda an akward situation. i think theres a bigger gap between him and the other lw contenders then there is any of the other guys listed and the best guys in there division. part of this is down to quality of division too.
no one has really stamped there mark by clearing things out.

He's been dominant in every fight of his career. He's been a champion for years. Like I said, the question didn't ask about resume.paddy chavez wrote: ↑14 Apr 2019, 16:27 So which welterweights has Crawford beat to be dominate ? Given the experience and grit he's faced in the ring I put a plug in for Berchelt !
