Believe it or not. It was Adelaide Byrd who had Khan ahead!

Funny tho she had Khan ahead after 5 rounds against Canelo. Then gave Canelo 10 rounds against GGG.

GBP and Sin City officials must have told her off after the Khan fight.

After a few years out of the ring, a blast out win and a cruise control decision victory, I'm not sure how much desire Amir has left.

Credit for taking on dangerous fighters in his career, but prior to his hiatus he was looking for the big cash out fights he never got from Mayweather or Manny. Now he's got his name back and landed a "big" (ish) fight (money wise), maybe this is his retirement fund.

With all that said, and how sharp Crawford is, arguably the best boxer on the planet right now, I think he gets an early stoppage.

You can back him at a very tempting 6/1 for a stoppage in round 1-3.
Or at 7/2 if you add in another round.

Khan lasted until 6 against Canelo, but he was more "prime" 3 years back...

Was it not her that had the ridiculous score against Mayweather? I can't remember.

If Khan had more of a Fury mentality and looked to steal the rounds, he would be a difficult fighter to beat.
However as we all know, he does like to get involved, and doesn't have the chin to back it up.
Nevertheless that is prob why he is popular and has earned the big bucks.

I've got to give Khan some credit...i doubt he needs the money and for him to come back after the ko vs Canelo takes some balls. I described that fight as a "nothing to lose " fight....how wrong was I.

I quite like this fight actually, both men are always great value, Crawford can always pull a KO out of nowhere like he did last time out against Benavidez and Khan can always get rocked at any moment like he did against Vargas last fight, i strongly fancy Crawford but i def give Khan more of a shout than i did Crolla on Friday, you just never know with Khan he can box a disaplined 12 rounds on occasion like he did against Kotelnik, Collazo and Alexander and Khan does have a size advantage and is the quickest boxer Crawford has faced

But really if Khan is getting decked and rocked against the likes of Vargas then Crawford should have no problems hurting him, Khan won nearly every round but Vargas hurt him more than he ever hurt Vargas, i know some people think Khan's dodgy chin is a bit of a myth but its really not, he just doesn't hold a shot well at all, his handspeed and sharp punching hide the fact he has a pretty low ring IQ, hands are too fast for his brain and that's why he gets clipped, he also has no inside game and it was evident against Vargas with all the holding he done which should've seen him docked points

Crawford on the other hand is a genius in the ring, patient, accuarate and an effective switch hitter, he doesn't mind giving the first round or 2 away before picking things up, Khan might be able to have success early with sharp single shots but i just think he's too vulnerable at all times, defensively open at mid range and can be negative and go for spells of running around the ring, at some point Crawford will open him up, could be anytime with Khan you just never know, if Khan plays it safety first then he might last the distance but fighting like that wont win enough rounds

Also wouldn't be surprised to see Khan pick up an early lead before getting hurt and Crawford turns the fight around, interesting fight though, Crawford's a 3 weight world champ, former undisputed at Super Lightweight etc but Khan would probably still be his best win and maybe even toughest fight

I give Khan zero chance of beating Crawford, in fact I see him getting stretched in 1. Bud will want to make a big statement and crossover, and in Khan he has the perfect foil--a Name who is now so fragile he seems to wobble every time he's hit. Overhand's crystal ball shows me punches flying at Khan like jizzum at a webcam, and the Bolton boy flat on his back, as spent as his balls when he signs out of Skype.

Seriously though, who's going to be impressed by Crawford starching Khan? It's merely expected. Only Khan can profit from this fight, but that won't happen. Crawford in four. Khan can run but he can't hide, to coin a phrase. :OhYes:

This is it for me,who is going to be impressed by it?crawford is an amazing fighter, but this is just a nothing fight.....

I've always respected Khan & still do,but when you sit & think about this "fight" you realise how uncompetitive it is,I see folk chat about how Khan was "lighting" canelo up before the stoppage,& his hand speed, like this has any bearing against Crawford who is going to pogger him

:TU: Anyone who felt Loma's win was against a mismatched opponent, can't be taking this fight too seriously.

No they can't,and shouldlnt

The only thing that makes it "world" boxing is the fact that Crawford is from USA and Khan is from the uk,cos at this point in terms of competitiveness this is not world level boxing its world level nonsense

I admit I did enjoy watching Loma go to work as I always do,but again,in the cold light of day it was a pure shameful mismatch

Yep, I totally agree. Khan needs saving from himself. It doesn’t get tougher than Crawford.

Yes, I think it's the absolute end of the road for him. He'll get KOd so badly that Brook/Khan will be pointless even to discuss.

i reckon crawford in 8 or 9.

khan will be semi competitive in the early running.

crawford should start timing him better by the middle rds and find the punches to end it. :KO:

You could send Canelo to the hospital in a stretcher and lost a MD.
