Too Many No-Contests Last Night

Post by Ruthless-RKO »

Quillin vs. Truax ended after 1 round

Diego De La Hoya vs. Enrique Bernache after 2 rounds

Otto Wallin vs. Nick Kisner after 1-2 rounds.

Then first bout could have been decent.

Not too fussed about DDLH..

Wallin was a bummer as it was his US TV debut. Shame.

Hopefully Quillin and Truax can reschedule.

I’m sure there was another with ended no contest.

Mike Tyson "no contest" decisions were the worst ........ Tyson vs Orlin Norris and Tyson vs Andrew Golota led to riots!

I found it funny that Ray Mancini, who bled all over the ring against Bramble in the rematch was allowed to finish the fight....but he was so adamant that the Quillin-Truex fight had to be stopped right away.

Are you sure. I don't recall any riots. Some upheaval after the Bite Fight, but Tyson always attracted a questionable crowd.

And wasn't the Golota fight changed to a NC after Tyson tested positive for marijuana?

On fight night, Tyson was announced as the TKO winner, so why would there have been unrest?
