Hungarian commission have given results to BoxRec. BoxRec so far have not done it, for whatever reason.

They done the same with Danny Williams a couple years ago. They left one of his wins off boxrec. He currently has 53 wins but it should be 54. Also he boxed an exhibition in Riga and they went and recorded it as a loss.

g

Boxrec is letting itself down. 5/6 boxers have contacted them and submitted evidence and no communication. John and Marina Sheppard have let these boxers down. Instead of moving forward they have to fight for their results

Boxrec ratings are laughable. They add wins they find to fighters records from Yesteryear like Sugar Ray Robinson and Cleveland Williams etc but can’t add legit wins to Ashley Theophane’s or Danny’s Williams’ records cos they have a beef with the promoters.

Exactly! How you putting up results from 50 years ago but won’t put up results from weeks ago when you had the information ASAP.
You can’t test for the accuracy of 50 years ago but are going to discredit current fighters when they have all the evidence to back up their claim. So you go silent. Not answering no emails or nothing. John and Marina Sheppard, I didn’t know their names before this situation but I do now. They’ve done a disservice to their website and discredited it with their actions.

Notice how nobody from boxrec has responded to this post yet. Last time I questioned their decision regarding a couple of Danny Williams’ fights they locked the post off so it was an end to the conversation.

Because they know they’re in the wrong. The boxers have all necessary proof that Hungary show was legit. Just like an york hall show in London.

Spoke to the Slovakian commission today.
By Boxrec not recording results from certain commissions, they are putting fighters health at risk.
If a fighter gets knocked out and is suspended for his own safety. By boxrec not recording the result, is putting his or her safety at risk as he can continue to fight.
So if he gets badly hurt in a contest. They are at fault. The commission was not happy about this situation becoming reality in the future.
It’s Boxrec's job to record results. Not police commissions.

I agree 100%. Nothing will change though. They are stuck in their ways.
