Joe Joyce Hires Adam Booth as Coach
Rising heavyweight force Joe Joyce has parted ways with trainer Abel Sanchez.
Since last year, Joyce had been training with Sanchez in Big Bear, California. Joyce had linked up with Sanchez after being coached by Ismael Salas.
According to Daily Mail, Joyce is back in the UK, training with new coach Adam Booth in London.
Joyce, 33-years-old and a 2016 Olympic silver medal winner, has only had three fights under Sanchez's guidance.
Now he's being guided by the man who took David Haye to world titles at cruiserweight and heavyweight.
A statement from S-Jam, the management agency formed by Adam Morallee and Sam Jones, said to Daily Mail: "We are delighted that Joe is pairing up with Adam Booth.
"He is a world-class trainer that will continue Joe's development to the top, building on the excellent work undertaken by his previous coaches – the hall of famers Ismael Salas and Abel Sanchez."

There’s a rumour he could no longer afford training with Abel and living in the US. He's now back to the UK, living with his parents.

Yeah I’ve heard a rumour that Adam Booth only charges £20 a pop for a training session.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑17 Apr 2019, 17:36 There’s a rumour he could no longer afford training with Abel and living in the US. He's now back to the UK, living with his parents.

I sense something is wrong, hopping from one trainer to another like Goldilocks is confusing me...

Picking the right trainer is a lot like making love to a beautiful woman......... You don't just go with the first one that comes along and it has to feel right when you're in the ring

Just saw this on Joyce’s Instagram. Interesting move. I expect Sanchez’s attention was on GGG and I never got the impression he was excited to be training Joyce.
Booth is all about speed and explosiveness, something Joyce would do to work on. I’m intrigued to see if they gel. A lot of fighters go to Booth for a fight or too and then leave: he seems to demand a lot from them.

long gone are the days when one fighter would stick with a trainer for his pro career !
