I'd be very keen to hear this one! You think it's a legitimate claim?

God knows. Maybe to get people to tune in?

Kugan will probably record it himself anyway..

This means they have the opponent in mind.

It will probably be Chisora again. Or Browne again. Maybe even Allen again.. doubt it.

But who is there.

8 rounds in the bank for Benn, dropping Zahradnik on the way to a 80-71 points win

It didn't look that one-sided.

I cant wait until Benn faces someone who can punch. I just want to see how he copes with a hitter.

the one thing CEJ DOES have is power, surely.

Actually I'd say his chin is his best attribute, but power 2nd. Everything else... meh -a bit forced like someone learning on the job which he is.
Explain..?

Gosh Groves and the Frog side by side. I wonder how that’s working out :geek:

That bird presenter is quite bangable isn’t she? Bet she does more research than Froch too

The issue with Benn is that hes had no amateur experience. I guess they are feeding whim with the opposition who are no better than amateur boxers to gain him that vital experience he needs. But while doing this you cant rank him in the top 10 by the WBA.

Benn is nothing more than area level because he hasnt fought anything above that level yet.

I have no issue with him being inexperienced but hes being built up as something big.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Conor Benn has something. I think if he fights for the British title he will surprise us and win it. There's some wild savage streak in him, or some sort of set of intangibles, that is going to help him overwhelm a more experienced boxer. I'm probably completely wrong and will regret this prediction.

Agree
He's nothing more than an undercard attraction for at least 2 years/6-7 learning fights.
Talk of Josh Kelly for The British is absurd.

MIGHT be pretty good @ 25 tho' - IF he keeps improving - there is something there...

Benn will be 30 fights into his pro career before he steps up. It can make up for having no amateur exp.

Will have a nice padded looking record.

TBH, he may even lose before 30 fights. Which is fine.

He won a WBA title recently. So he’s ranked with the WBA.
