Craw will catch Khan and knock him out. I twill be happen in the middle or later rounds but it defenetely will be happen. Khan is very fast and naturaly gifted fighter bur also very stupid (in sence of fight IQ) and it will make him victim of such smart and craft master as Bud is. So Craw by KO. Maybe Terrence will loss a couple of early rounds but will still find the way to annihilate his rival sooner or later

Lawrence Newton easily won Saturday night while taking a slight step up in competition.

Newton, a bantamweight prospect who’s guided by Terence Crawford’s trainers, out-worked and out-landed Jonathan Garza to win a six-rounder by unanimous decision at Madison Square Garden. Newton, of Deerfield, Florida, won all six rounds on one scorecard (60-54) and five rounds on two scorecards (59-55, 59-55).

The 22-year-old Newton improved to 12-0 (7 KOs) by winning on the Crawford-Amir Khan undercard. The 22-year-old Garza, of Eagle Pass, Texas, has lost three of his past four fights, all by decision (7-3, 2 KOs).

Because of his boxing skills and handspeed, Khan is a front-runner like Zab Judah was (vs Kostya, Floyd) so I expect him to win a few early rounds (like he did vs Garcia & Canelo) but eventually Bud will make the adjustments needed to control the fight. Since Floyd retired, Crawford is probably the best in the game at making adjustments to troublesome fighters (Gamboa, Dulorme) and I expect him to do that tonight as well.

“The Indian Tank” took on a tougher opponent in his second professional fight than in his pro debut.

Vikas Krishan’s six-rounder unfolded accordingly Saturday night on the Terence Crawford-Amir Khan undercard at Madison Square Garden. Noah Kidd penetrated Krishan’s suspect defense at times in their six-round junior middleweight match, but Krishan connected enough with his straight left hand to somehow score a shutout on two of the three scorecards.

The 27-year-old Krishan (2-0, 1 KO), a two-time Olympian for India, won by scores of 60-54, 60-54 and 59-55. Krishan, who initiated numerous clinches when they fought inside, suffered a cut over his right eye during the fifth round.

The 23-year-old Kidd, of Jefferson City, Missouri, lost a second straight bout. Highly touted Kazakh prospect Daniyar Yeleussinov stopped Kidd in the third round of his last fight, last April 28 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

98-92, 97-93, 97-93 for Verdejo

Wider than I had it. At least they’re consistent.

I had it 96-94

In a crossroads bout at lightweight, Felix Verdejo (25-1, 16 KOs) won a ten round unanimous decision over Bryan Vasquez (37-4, 20 KOs). The scores were 97-93, 97-93 and 98-92.

Close action in the first two rounds, with Vasquez doing many awkward moves and Verdejo pumping the jab and looking to slow the action down. Verdejo was having a lot of trouble with Vasquez's style and odd movements which came from angles.

By the fourth round, Vasquez's jab and right hands had created a cut under the left eye of Verdejo. Vasquez was taking the fight to Verdejo and making him miss counters.

Verdejo was working a strong jab at the start of the fifth. He was really picking up the pace with his punches. Verdejo continued to bully Vasquez around the ring and was landing solid shots in the sixth. The precision of Verdejo was working over Vasquez in the seventh, with sharp punches that were landing flush.

The next few rounds were close, with Verdejo having a very minor edge. Vasquez showed more urgency and was taking the fight to Verdejo in the final round.

Shakur impressive thus far.

I'd like to see him vs Warrington - almost opposite styles.
