If the suspensions were too lengthy there would be no contenders active :KO:

Confessing AFTER getting caught red handed after three fails is what you are defending?

Unbelievably desperate reaction from the pair of them.

Didn't even have a decent contaminated meat / spiked Pepsi / alien abduction story lined up.

Tyson got banned for life for committing cannibalism.

In that case, life only lasted a year.

That's probably how long Miller will be out too.

If someone never tests positive, I'll go with that. It does no good to vigorously point fingers at certain fighters, but present absolutely no proof.

Just a hunch, just a suspicion doesn't cut it.

Jarrell Miller is being "nailed to the cross" over a failed drug test "because he is an African-American fighter", his promoter has claimed.

"With all of that being said, it is hard for me not to think that he is being nailed to the cross because he is an African-American fighter."

Fina said she she had also suffered abuse over the issue for being Miller's promoter.
"I can't help but to think that a lot of that has to do with the fact that I am a woman in a male-dominated industry. This is not me playing the victim, but stating facts," she added.

What do you even say to that?

I think that is "playing the victim" as much as it is feasibly possible.

Irrespective of your demographic, you're going to be in for criticism under these circumstances. Of course if there have been specific criticisms for her being a woman, or Miller being African-American, that is completely out of order.

But when you made your bed, you gotta be prepared to lie in it.

They always say beware of those who shout the loudest.

He was very vocal in accusing Joshua, despite Anthony coming up clean, yet he was up to his eyes in PEDs.😡

Good riddance to the big fat dope.

He can now get work as a bouncy castle for hire!

If you take a look at The RING ratings for the heavyweight division, half of the names listed have received suspensions for consuming banned substances (three of them being multiple offendors), one of them was sentenced for being in possession of recreational drugs and one of them was convicted for being a drug dealer.

Of the three remaining “innocent” guys, one of them is currently serving a suspension for allegedly groping a woman and delivering an unwelcome unsolicited kiss.

And Miller’s promoter thinks that fight fans are being hypercritical due to her fighter being an African American, coupled with her being criticised for being a woman! FFS!

I think we’ve all had enough of dirty fighters and Miller's situation is possibly the most extreme example you can find, since he’s a repeat offender that has been intentionally using three different substances (preparing for the AJ bout) whilst accusing other fighters of being drug cheats and then subsequently lying about his own innocence!

3 failed tests for 3 different substances including epo and the despicable drug that is hgh.

2 year ban should be the absolute minimum.
4 years is the usual ban.
Fury and Eric Molina got it cut to 2 years because of "unusual circumstances"

Stupid statement. Where does AJ originate from? It’s not like he was fighting a member of the KKK is it 🙄

Playing the race and/or gender card is hardly unpredictable or unexpected in this era.

When you have no ammunition to fire back, turning the discussion around and pointing the finger at others as having racist/sexist motives is the only way to go.

Deflect criticism by turning the accusers into the even guiltier party.

Brilliant. And in our snowflake PC society, it is an often effective tactic in quieting the outcry.

Very similar to political races today.
You have no platform. No substance and no end game. So just mud sling and hope you raise enough attention

On the bright side it’s been a better day for Miller, as he hasn’t failed a drugs test today...
