At this stage I think promoters are more eager for Ajagba to establish a reputation as a monster rather than have him lumber through rounds before putting an opponent away.oogiebe wrote: ↑30 Mar 2019, 14:52The lad needs rounds. That's when you up the level. He's had all but two fights stopped inside the first. Time to up the ante. I think Wallisch can provide some rounds, at least I hope so.SenorPipino wrote: ↑30 Mar 2019, 14:49 When a guy has only 8 fights (Harper doesn't included) how can you complain about the opposition?
He's supposed to be fighting soft opposition and this stage and learning from different styles.
It will be quite a while before an opponent enters the ring with Ajagba who has a realistic chance to win.
I'd want to hook the fans by making him a must-see KO attraction before you start worrying about building up his stamina and experience by going deeper into fights.
It's true that Ajagba wasn't really on the radar before the Harper bout last year, so he could be in for a lengthy "selling" process before the opponents become somewhat credible.
