Nah, Mr Rosi must be half decent if he took Phillips distance twice... may ask too much money...Just cancelled my hotel room in Cardiff... no way is this bill happening... TicketMaster still selling tix for MEN on July 15 but no headliner annouced for that show... Jamie Hearn isn't topping the bill so I think Calzaghe v ??? and Skelton v Williams II goes to MEN by the end of the week...

Oh no, this is totally normal F. Warren management.
Any fighter they come up with now won't have sufficient time to prepare.

But again, I grant JC this one if the next fight in fall is really good - meaning: against one out of Kessler, Beyer, Mundine, Woods, Erdei, Adamek, Tarver, G.Johnson, Briggs. My personal wish list is (1) Kessler (2) Woods (3) Adamek.

Why do we _know_ for a _fact_ that Kessler "overpriced" himself... just because Warren said he did... sorrry but that cuts no ice with me... didn't Baldomir "overprice" himself out of Hatton but get exactly that price (whatever it was) from Gatti?... allegedly has used the 'overpriced himself' line even more than Andy Ayling has used the gay 0898 line...

Well Warren is the one dealing with him and Kessler or Team Palle have not denied Warren's claim now have they?

Kessler wanted lots to fight Lacy too before Calzaghe beat him too!

another thing is that - and this is a key question! - howcome Joe Calzaghe has NEVER ... EVER given Kessler and offer (well, he did actualyl give him an offer when Kess was injured for $50.000, but most people can see that that is ridiculous for a unification fight.)

I bet if Joe offered Kessler something slightly acceptable we would have the fight.

Why has Joe offered Lacy, Beyer, and is now looking at all kinds of inferior fighters? Give Kessler a decent offer if you dare meet him. Plain and simple.

He has a very impressive record for a prospect - has some decent names on it - Mock, Salem, Wiggins, Thysse, Thobela, Salem, Spearman... And he looks a mean puncher - KO'ing Salem.

Bute is good but it's too early in his career.

Plus Bute is on vacation. He will go back in training camp in about 2 months for a fight on september 29th.

His team is targeting a fighter ranked in the top5 by the WBC, WBA, IBF or WBO.

Glenn Johnson is a great match if thats the case - the jamaican might be ancient and have a lot in the' L' column but his pressure, experience and hard headed attitude will force JC to fight.

What?? At supermiddle, or LH? I doubt team Calzaghe are too thrilled with a short notice job against a fighter of Johnson's quality.
At this late stage I'm sure they were expecting a real stiff.

You'd guess Joe hasn't been exactly pushing the boat out in his training so far.

bute? he's a composed, power punching southpaw and gave salem such a shellacing that he had to retire on his stool. the guy is awesome when he gets going. maybe not quite enough variety in his work but looks very good

bad news about kessler. he's injured & his bloody title defense is off. i'm getting pissed with the calzaghe situation. i'm going to do a pundit. fight kessler FOR fornicate'S SAKE, stop buggerng around joe

Johnson would definitely take it on 7 weeks notice, he has done way shorter notice before even since his recent rise.

Well, true. But why would he bother in this instance? Would he go down to 168? Or is Calzaghe going to step up for a non-title fight? Either way, it's not happening.
