Fair enough Tiny but my opinion is that the forum has already voted on the standing of the various fighters so we need only concern ourselves with what happens since the last time we voted. Not everyone agrees with me. That's fair enough too.

But surely the Takam KO surely puts him ahead of the likes of Hunter and Hammer?!

I'm perplexed that Hunter is so highly revered after only 4 pro fights at heavyweight.

When I took a look at the boxrec HW rankings after Andy Ruiz won, it has bumped him right up to #12 :o
I don't think that could be a mitigating factor, personally I don't rate his win that highly :maybe:

Compare that with the fighters around him in the rankings and their 'accomplishments.'

Noted.
What separates our list is; we evaluate those accomplishments with the "eye test" and mine told me Ruiz beat a shot guy (after that performance) I would label a future journeyman, not even a gatekeeper.

He did. Just that the others don't have much if anything much better. Also, Ruiz has those quick hands and is durable. He's no world beater, but who of those around him would you favor? That comes into to play for me as well as resume, even though some here would not agree.

I like Ruiz but he has been so inactive I've stopped considering him as a top 15 fighter. It's good to see him back and the Dimitrenko win puts him back in the reckoning but not quite enough to force his way back in as I see it. It's not easy though. There are upwards of half a dozen fighters who could replace Miller in the rankings with little to choose between them.

Just a short while ago we were discussing whether Miller deserved to be ranked above Pulev. What a twat ! :verysad:

If Ruiz can throw in another two fights this year, he'd win me over a bit.

Fat chance though (pun intended).

I think he's good enough. He showed he was on a level with Parker, and Parker has proved to me he's worthy of a high ranking even if he lost his last two fights at world level. The Whyte fight was a bloody close call for Whyte.

chisora no change. i struggle to see how you drop him that far for a dominant win given the state of the division. just not that many other guys below whove really stamped there mark. fair play if u didnt rate him top 15 before, but a lot of guys voting him out did.

ruiz 3 points
hunter 2
joyce 1

ruiz still gets cred from me for beating parker on my card, ya i know hes fat as holy f@ck but still. and he at least beat dimmy a lot easier then jennings did

hunter gave usyk a good fight and looked good at hw so far. the win over bakole seems better now that bakole dominated wach, certanly much better then szpilka did

i was debating between joyce and a more veteran guy like takam, but i decided to go for a fresh face

Yoka is serving a ban for failure to show up for drug testing

Chisora to remain. He won easily, despite not looking impressive against an extremely negative opponent. Had he been ranked higher, I'd say drop him, but those around him haven't done better than Del's KO of Takam.

For the 15 spot:

1. Michael Hunter 3pts
2. Joe Joyce 2pts
3. Hughie Fury 1pt

Question A: How are the rankings affected by ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง Dereck Chisora's (#12) UD 10 win over ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช Senad Gashi (unranked, BoxRec's #307)

My vote: Chisora no change, Gashi remains unranked.

Question B: Who should take the #15 spot?

My vote:

1. Christian Hammer 3 points
2. Andy Ruiz 2 points
3. Sergej Kuzmin 1 point
