Khan seems to be in disaster recovery mode with quotes like this:

“The fight was 100 percent turning,” Khan said. “I could see (Crawford) slowing down; that fifth round was one of his worst. It’s a strategy; how can you hit somehow that low? He knows. He’s a professional fighter."

I want what he's smoking. :OhYes:

Khan is a warrior, but he did quit.

Idleness has caught up with Khan.

He spent a chunk of prime lying idle for no real reason and he's become soft and he probably thinks that he doesn't need this anymore.

He can try and kid himself and that's something Khan is a master at, but he can't kid us.

Khan doesn't fancy it anymore and he's looking for a cash out fight IMHO.

Brook will always be Khan last fight....too much risk....it might be now though, although he might be seen as an easy option for pacquaio.

Khan is shot, his handspeed was gone. It was all straight lines and he looked as wild as Eubank jnr

You beat me to it, I was going to mention this also;

I'd also imagine that the Networks, promoters and commissions are all pulling in the same direction, and as a result most referees will know that if they want to get the high profile gigs, they'd best make sure there's no long lulls in action.

I honestly think he's so thick he's confused most of the time, he's like a cat when you first put a collar with a bell round it's neck, twisting this way and that trying to escape, backtracking, and generally looking like a fornicating twat.

I love watching Khan fight and he does a lot for charity so fair play to him but everything else about him pisses me off, he talks shite and for someone as religious as him, he doesn't half take the piss out of his mrs, shagging about and wanking left right and centre

Ali was the same in all fairness

He's up there. I think Robinson liked beating women as much as banging them. Always cracks me up when someone bashes Floyd's behavior and lists ray as the goat with no sidebars.

People have their favorites and sometimes don't know much about the other guys. Can't fault them too much.

It's easier to just not judge athletes you don't like because you're guaranteed to be a hypocrite sooner rather than later.

True. Look at the beloved Joe Louis. They kept all his carousing quiet forever. So worried about the Jack Johnson label.
