DURABLE VETERAN TESTS HOT PROSPECT's KO STREAK on Canelo-Jacobs Undercard

Former amateur standout Vergil Ortiz has won all 12 of his pro bouts inside the distance but hasnt faced anyone really durable till now. He'll be taking on former world title challenger Mauricio Herrera, who has never been stopped in 32 fights. Herrera lost a majority decision to Danny Garcia in 2014, when Garcia was WBA super lightweight champ. Herrera was also the first fighter to beat hard-hitting Russian slugger Ruslan Provodnikov, known as the "Russian Rocky."

Here's video of Vergil stopping hard-hitting Roberto "Massa" Ortiz, but Massa doesnt have much of a chin. Herrera does and although he doesnt have much chance to beat Vergil, he has a good chance to end his KO streak at 12.
