Big decision for Golovkin. I’m just hoping his new trainers not Virgil Hunter.

So instead of Abel receiving $10m over the 3 year deal, he would instead be receiving $2m..

It is quite a steep cut though.

Abel is probably set for life anyway after the 2 Canelo fights.

That's the real point. In both matchups with the holey drug cheat Canelo it was obvious that Sanchez had no tactical awareness.

Abel Sanchez more or less admits that he doesn't believe in boxing tactics. Eddy and Chepo Reynoso on the other hand might disagree.

Pity this didn't happen earlier. Sanchez's got lucky meeting up with a mega talent like GGG but his usefulness ended long ago.

Perhaps its time to go back to boxing school eh Abel?

Well considering , GGG is definetly fading , more from age than anything else , a trainer worth 10% , or around 10 million , should be good enough to , come up with tactics , methods and fight plans to slow that aging down , Sanchez has'nt come up with anything , , He is only worth what he is offerred , besides the money which is'nt chicken feed , he gets others who want to join a profile trainer , and earns of them ,Said it before Sanchez thinks he's the star , he loves the interviews and video's , but when GGG is gone so are they . He should'nt of been so greedy , he would still be getting paid well for a guy who really has'nt improved GGG one bit

..with all these astronomical and unreal numbers thrown around by DAZN, kinda curious how and if all other beneficiaries readjusted paychecks of their respective employees.. :maybe:

If GGG has a rematch with Canelo he will be stopped.

Great coaching with a chemically enhanced endurance? Canelo v GGG ll was like Hagler v Magabe - finally someone was able to stand with Golovkin.

Canelo is the most improved boxer of the past decade, but GGG was pretty special before he even laced up a pair of gloves if only half the stories are true.

Still, no one beats time - not even the ever optimistic Gennady Golovkin. That's assuming his body can hold up and he gets past Steve Rolls.

I still doubt Canelo will even drop GGG, never mind stop him..
There last fight was on 6 months ago. Canelo budged more times than GGG.

More interested in seeing the back end of these deals collected. Their losses would have to be pushing a billion by the time gggs contract is over.

...you never know, until this point though there's been ABSOLUTELY no indication a 36 year-old GGG being susceptible to any of Canelo's punches..

Golovkin might regret being so tight fisted and not paying Sanchez.

From the sound of all this acrimony, Sanchez will soon be spilling every piece of vicious dirt imaginable about his ex-charge.

Sanchez has always been a very loquacious guy.

Gokovkin may very well consider forking over a few million dollars from that DAZN contract to keep his former trainer's lips from flapping too much.

..I wonder how much Canello pays his trainer now that he's got this 300+ million deal with DAZN..

I'm sure the truth of the matter lies something like this:

Sanchez was getting 10% of GGG's earnings before the DAZN signing. GGG slashed his % by 80% which, while bringing the % down to 2%, leaves the $'s around the same, or maybe even higher. I didn't do the match. Either way, I don't really care about those details. I like GGG getting on with someone who will be more of a tactical coach.

Well I have been trying for quite a while to wise up all those who naively annointed Mother Teresa status to the one time middleweight champion.

Nothing unexpected here for me.

Sanchez is now confirming everything I always suspected that Golovkin was.

And there will be plenty more revelations in the coming months. Count on it.

Of course they get paid. Just like in any other family business.

You don't hear the Reynosos complaining about their paychecks.

Canelo Alvarez signed the richest contract in sports history and has no problem fairly compensating his team.

He recognizes the role they played in his success and is grateful.

Unlike a certain other fighter who couldn't spell "appreciation" if it was translated to Khazak.

..Sanchez is just one pissed off fired employee who wanted more but didn't get it, that's all.. my legit question being how generous is Canello to his family, loyalty aside..

I saw on a few occasions in their two meetings where Canelo rattled GGG and hirt him, one to the body. But like the experienced professional that GGG is, he hides it well, same with Canelo.

There will come a time where GGGs punch resistance will begin to deminish considerably. I feel by the time they fight again, if they fight again Canelo will stop GGG.

Reynosos are likely on a fixed salary, not percentages.
