Nobody cares here anyway. The opponent doesn't matter. Dazn just has to hope they get viewers off of canelo/Jacobs that get attached to a.j.

It's amazing how many different rumors are out there. Ortiz to get counter offer. Ortiz out of consideration. Bryan not considered. Bryan frontrunner. Ruiz Frontrunner. Hunter to be confirmed. Ruiz emerges as frontrunner. Down to Hunter/Ruiz. I'm getting dizzy!

If it's not Ortiz or Ruiz call the whole thing off. Nobody, other than their immediate families, are interested in the others. Nobody much is interested in any of it anymore anyway. Miller would have been a blast, but they had their Las Vegas drug inspection crew look at his exam results too closely. He probably didn't slip enough to Doctor Margaret's VADA bag man. You know how it works in Mafia Vegas, money talks bs walks.

He can't call it off. Thousands of UK fans have booked and paid for flights and hotels, a lot of which will be non refundable.

He's in a tricky position. I'm sure he'd like to cancel but he risks alienating his UK fan base and his new paymasters at dazn of he can't deliver something

We have some good prospects this weekend to watch. Efe; Rock; DD (hopefully). Another couple of weeks, Wilder/Breazeale, etc. Interest in AJ vs TBA is waning. Makes for good forum fodder but little else.

I feel most sorry for those Brits who've committed themselves with plane fare; hotels, etc.

The UK fans will accept a lesser opponent as they're all in re flights, accommodation, time off work etc. It's all part of a bigger holiday for them. No fight at all would be a massive misstep on Hearn's part and would definitely impact on future fans travelling to the USA for a Joshua fight there.

The fight will go ahead one way or another.

It will, but it won't nearly what they signed up for. I was looking forward to Miller taking a beating.

He'll take a hit reputation wise definitely but a cancellation would be approaching business suicide

Really bad timing for him considering his first foray into the US.

They're really nonrefundable? You can't pay a 10% cancellation fee or something? Maybe your credit card company has some insurance coverage for that or you could dispute the charges? I don't know, but non refundable sucks. What if you got sick or some family or other emergency occurred? I guess they sell extra travel insurance for that...

I thought Miller could beat him. Sure he's a loud mouth and has - uh oh - roid rage - but he doesn't seem a bad sort.

I could never stand his big mouth bravado with a thin resume. Never liked him. Now I have more reason not to.

I can't disagree with you as I prefer old fashioned good sportsmanship - and Joshua does comport himself very well - but I guess I'm getting used to the Vince McMahon style of wrestling-boxing with yelling and shoving and flamboyant entrances and masks (no folding chairs yet though...that's probably next.) But don't you think it would have been a rather exciting affair? No telling how long it would have lasted either, either way.

You have to pay more for refundable flights, sometimes a fair bit more.

In all seriousness, imagine what Joshua must be thinking at this point.

Probably wondering if he'll get a call from Khan's missus due to Amir being out of action with his heavily bruised testicle (thigh)

I don't know how he can focus on a fight not knowing who, what style and how he's going to fight them.
I would be pissed by now.
No matter who they get Joshua will be several levels better. But the whole situation has got to be getting under his skin
