IMO it was be a slugfest.
My pick - Razor by unanimous decision.

Ibeabuchi wins this one by stoppage if they slug. If Ruddock uses his legs and jabs , he goes the route but still loses.
Re: Heavyweights : Donovan Ruddock vs. Ibe Ibeabuchi
Ruddock wasn't a lot more multi-dimensional, than Tua had been. And his chin was worse. However, Tua fight was very close. So as Ruddock fight would be. Yet I slightly favor Ibeabuchi.

Re: Heavyweights : Donovan Ruddock vs. Ibe Ibeabuchi
Ibeabuchi will forever be an enigma. Was he really the goods or was he just matched with the right people to make him appear that great? Byrd & Tua are good names, but both were hindered by either their size or limitations of skills, etc--- and the fact Ibeabuchi slugged it out with Tua instead of trying to use even a modicum of science shows me that had he ever fought the likes of Bowe, Lewis, Holyfield or even Ray Mercer he'd of been in trouble. A man with similar attributes and a brain would have beaten him.
Donovan Ruddock wouldn't have been that man though. The moment he found out he could punch, was the moment he went down hill (imho) because he became one-dimensional.

Ike never felt power like Ruddock's left hand. Very tough to call, razor had a good chin but poor balance. I'll take Ike by Dec off a couple flash kds.

I'll take Ike on this one. He withstood the best Tua could offer and could beat the far less active Ruddock.

Ruddock was much bigger, more talented and stronger than ole tua. But no, razor wouldn't be tossing 1200 punches or whatever it was in maybe the most disappointing fight I've ever watched after it took place.

Re: Heavyweights : Donovan Ruddock vs. Ibe Ibeabuchi
As much as I enjoyed watching Ruddock fight, I'll go with Ike here. I never saw Ike get 'close' to being hurt in all his fights, so I don't think Razor's punches would have that much effect on "The President" either. I'd guess Ike with a TKO in the later rounds.

Re: Heavyweights : Donovan Ruddock vs. Ibe Ibeabuchi
donovan razor ruddock of the 2nd tyson fight would do to ike ibeabuchi what david tua couldnt >>>>> donovan razor ruddock 8 rd tko ...ike ibeabuchi never fought a big man...hes a myth ....

I know I'll get bashed for this.
But these are 2 of the most over rated heavyweights ever.
Both were good but several act like they were great.

LOL who thinks of "dream" fights like this? A mathchup between two also-rans/ never was'es / screw ups?
How about a match between Bert Cooper and David Tua? That's one for the ages too. hehehe
