Oliver Harrison
I am hearing reports that Oliver Harrison has passed away today. RIP to a north west boxing stalwart.
Re: Oliver Harrison
Was he ill? Must've only been in his 50s. Sad news. RIP.
Re: Oliver Harrison
Dreadful news always seemed such a nice guy.
God Bless and Rest In Peace.

God bless you Oliver.
Thoughts are with his family & friends a great loss for the game.

Thanks Jamie. I remember reading Moore had taken on a few of his fighters a while ago. Massive loss to British boxing. Thoughts go out to his loved ones.Jamie Albrecht wrote: ↑26 Apr 2019, 07:22 Only speculating here, though I believe he had been very I'll for a while, leading to Jamie Moore taking on a few of his fighters
Re: Oliver Harrison
I remember Oliver and his brother Humphrey when they were pros in the 1980s. They were former kickboxers who could undoubtedly fight and appeared on Fight Night a few times. Humphrey had the better career but Oliver came back into the fold as Amir Khan's trainer and he did his job quietly and efficiently. Very sad news.

R.I.P. Oliver, sad news.
Re: Oliver Harrison
That is really shitty news. RIP. I rated him as a coach.
Re: Oliver Harrison
Way too young. I think he had cancer. Yes, Jamie Moore took on a few of his fighters as he tried to recover. What a shame. Well regarded by everyone that worked with him, and as a bloke too.

Very sad news.
I was fearing the worst when he hadn't come back.
I guess he wanted to keep his health condition private.
RIP Oliver.
