Prime Sonny Liston?

A prime Sonny Liston against a prime Evander Holyfield.

What advantages would Sonny have over Evander?

What advantages would Holyfield have over Liston?

What do you see happening in this fight?

Who would win? Why?

I like Holyfield. Liston had that great jab, of course but not the height to go with it.His lack of height would play into Holyfield's advantage. Evander won't be intimidated at all by Sonny. I like Holyfield's work rate and tenacity in this one.

I will pick Evander Holyfield. More heart, will and determination.

Holyfied was a more advanced boxer. He was faster, more diverse and polished, more gutsy. I'd pick him over Liston.

they've got to be at least level in the 'gutsy' department ?

Cruiser Holy gets blasted out Patterson fashion.

peak heavy Holy could get the points but wouldn't be surprised with a late stoppage win for Sonny

At least consider what old Foreman was able to accomplish with Evander. I'm not calling this one, but I don't think Holy runs away with it by any means.
