Nope I think he will last 10.
I'm probably the only guy here that thinks Ruiz is a legitimate top 10 contender.
He will lose big but he will not be steamrolled like most are predicting

Seriously. Or better, too bad Miller was Big Pharma and not Big Baby.

Noooobody has EVVVVVVVA knocked out Andy Ruiz Jnr, and I mean EVVVA!!! Ayyy-Jayyy is the first man to EVVVVA knock him out. What more can you ask for?

The USP here is to be there first man to knock Ruiz Jnr out.
“So I think it’s a really credible fight. Mexico could have it’s first heavyweight world champion, there’s gonna be a lot of interest in that. And obviously he’s with the PBC, who would love to have a heavyweight world champion. So, it’s a great narrative there and I believe it’s a fun fight and gonna be a war...”

I think Ruiz could ask a few questions in the early stages on the fight but he's not that big a puncher and I expect AJ to get to him like he did with Povetkin. I had Ruiz shading the Parker fight.

I reckon Ruiz could eat more rounds of sandwiches than Joshua if you throw a pork pie into the equation anything could happen

Would this be considered a bigger upset than James "Buster" Douglas over "Iron" Mike Tyson?

Absolutely bollocks,

Tyson was a vastly experienced, totally dominant champion who had won pretty much ever round he'd boxed and had never been down as a pro.

AJ has been on the deck, been rocked, gassed, lost rounds and looked beatable.

Buster had lost to David Bey, Mike White and Jesse Ferguson, but had some decent wins. Ruiz doesn't have the same wins, but I thought he beat Parker.

If you don't believe me, ask the bookies. Tyson was a 1-42 favourite,

Vegas wasn't even taking bets on Douglas.

Only The Mirage posted odds in Vegas, so I stand corrected. They are the ones that moved the odds up to 42-1 and took bets on Tyson. E.G. one bettor bet 81,000 to win 3,000.

I remember, hindsight might be swaying me. You can't unsee how good Douglas was that night. I gave him the same chance as everyone else. I'll tell you this, I wouldn't bet $100 on Ruiz at 100-1. As outgunned as buster appeared we knew he had size and his jab as at least some form of advantage and it showed immediately. Ruiz has nothing going for him here.

Ruiz (left) in his last fight.
He will be a real tough sell to the casual. £20 to watch Joshua knock the sh!t out of a small fat guy in the middle of the night.
